Both my daughters did the Play In a Week 7-10 and Mini Musical 5-6 summer courses and could not have had a better time.nThe shows covered so much in such a short period, and the teachers were lovely with the kids. Both girls had a wonderful time and made friends they want to keep - “it’s like a family!”. We’ll definitely enrol again!
My son attended the Musical Theatre experience course and absolutely loved it. He said that the teachers were absolutely incredible and really helpful and informative. He spoke about how lovely all the other students were on the course and how everyone made each other feel welcome. He made so many friends over the course of the week and was really upset that he had to leave! Their mini performance on the last day was incredible and it was lovely to see what they achieved in such a short amount of time! We would thoroughly, 100% recommend.
Our daughter had a fabulous week in the musical theatre course at ArtsEd this summer. Every touchpoint and person was kind, helpful and encouraging. Thank you for boosting an aspiring actors confidence and giving them an experience they won’t forget.
Musical Theatre reviewnnI do not recommend Musical Theatre!nnMy daughter attended the Saturday school in this school. She was enjoying it until the tutors cancelled her lines for no reason just 2 weeks before the performance.nnWhen we reached out and tried to get explanation why they did this to her, they couldn’t give us a proper acceptable answer.nnAlthough my daughter had 100% attendance and was fully committed, they punished her with cancelling her lines instead of those who barely attended Saturday school. This was their explanation: “unfortunately, due to attendance issues with other participants, adjustments had to be made”nnThe head of the short courses got very defensive and gave us nonsense reasons and told us not to contact her again.nnThey destroyed my daughter’s confidence as she got devastated with her cancelled lines just 2 weeks before the performance!!!nnWhen we told them that our daughter does not wish to return to the course anymore after what they did to her, the head of short courses just rubbed under our nose that she would reallocate our daughter’s part to others. what they already cancellednnWe got even more confused and were demanding answers on what was going on but she was still not capable to respond with an acceptable answer and called us aggressive and blocked us from the communication. Clearly she cannot handle issues/situations in professional manners.nnAfter many unsuccessful tries and requests for contact details of the department of head we finally managed to send our formal complaint to the relevant person but it seems Arts Ed just proved themselves how unprofessional they are as well as they have not even bothered to respond to our complaint since mid April. They totally ignore us. Obviously they have no morals and values as their avoidance and lack of communication reflects that they don’t even care what they caused to a little girl.nnClearly they failed their own STATEMENT OF INTENT and should not pride themselves on their openness and approachability as they state in their policy because they did not even try to solve our complaint or take it seriously.
First time to attend this school/summer camp and it was fabulous. The guest artists were a surprise and an inspiration. Would definitely recommend and hope to return for another camp soon. Thank you to everyone at ArtsEd!
