HinnSince you have Olympic lifting classes in the evening, which is amazing, it is worth considering atleast having one set of bumper plates and a 15kg thin circumference bar for the back room which has a lifting platform for the enthusiastic lifters to perform snatch and thrusters which is unable to drop the weights with the plates you have right now and not necessarily safe to do so. Everything else is brilliant and wonderful reception staff as always. The bonus, the telephone service staff is incredibly helpful .
I am a regular at Wimbledon gym & pool attending a range of fitness classes. I have been extremely impressed with the HIT & Core Conditioning classes run by Aurora. For context, I am a British Triathlon L2 Coach and have been a member of several gyms over the past 30+ years and experienced many different instructors/styles.nAurora's classes are well prepared, she has the ability to change and adapt the content to the participants on the day. Her explanation/demonstrations are excellent, she brings an infectious natural energy to the sessions to promote the best in the participants.nI find all the staff at the facility very helpful.
I just wanted to highlight a very special instructor at this gym, she consistently goes above and beyond others. Her amazing attitude, energy and enthusiasm, the genuine love for her classes and those that participate in them. An absolute credit!!!! Her HIIT/CORE classes are so much fun with *great music* Everyone is always made to feel welcome, whether you are an absolute beginner or a part of the furniture. Aurora makes the effort to remember your name and get to know you and your fitness level, motivating you to achieve your best. I just wish she carried out more classes...
Dennis at the reception of Wimbledon Leisure Center is absolutely fantastic! I've had the pleasure of meeting him on 2 occasions and can honestly say Wimbledon Leisure Center are very lucky to have him! He's welcoming, polite and so helpful. Best classes in Wimbledon!nnThe classes at this gym are truly top-notch, especially the ones with Waz, which are of an incredible quality. Waz is skilled, engaging, and always keep things challenging, which makes every session truly rewarding.nnBeyond that, the gym itself is great. It’s spacious, well-equipped, and even has a swimming pool.
