Great stay. Brilliant location and friendly staff. Room very clean and quiet, comfortable beds. Being able to have breakfast in your room is a lovely touch. Staff allowed us an extra hour before check out, free of charge which was very generous of them. Only downside I would say is that there is no information given at check in - no instructions on breakfast timings, where to go, how to use the features in the room etc - I assumed I would find the information in the room but I didn’t. It wasn’t a huge issue as I rang down to reception to ask but definitely something that it would help to discuss at the beginning of your stay. Thank you to the team for a lovely stay!
The location is excellent. Walking distance to all of attractions, museums and theaters. From the moment we stepped in we were well treated. The hotel and the rooms are clean, elegant and well maintained. The staff is professional, kind, personally service oriented, always with a big smile willing to meet your needs. All of it gave is the feeling that we have a home in London. We will definitely choose to stay again in our next visit.
A hotel not to be over looked when choosing the right location and place to stay in London ! Walking distance to so much one hardly needs transportation . The whole ambiance is one of style and sophistication. The greeting at checking, the efficient staff making it a simple process. Very welcoming indeed. The room, a suite called Rocks, was one of the most unusual and comfortable rooms to be experienced! The decor is so appealing and crisp and clean. The quality of the bed ensured a very good nights sleep. The most stylish bathroom ever . All in all a top quality accommodation at a very enjoyable hotel. The restaurant facilities are great and the food matched it! Full marks on all levels .
Have stayed and worked in hotels for over 30 years, including this one back in the naughties, when the hotel was a tired one. Never had such a good experience as here. Beautiful crisp, clean hotel. Staff were plentiful and engaged. Polite, professional and smiling. Everything I could wish for in a hotel stay. Breakfast was excellent. Compliments to the chef. We had a very pleasant evening in the sycamore bar too.
This place has been the most magnificent hotel I have been to , and I have been to many trust me . What's amazing about it isn't just that It is a 5 stars hotel , but the hospitality of the staff , the service and how clean it was . I stayed with my wife and little daughter for 5 nights , check in was super fast and easy with welcome drinks. Food at the restaurant was amazing and the staff were great specially the manager at the breakfast. Room service were great and house keeping were super amazing with everything . I had a medical issue during my stay and the staff made me feel as if I was one of their family with all the help and support . I would like to specially thank Andrea, Gabrielle, Mathew, creese and Victoria hope I got the names written correctly those guys made our experience very special and made middle eight the best hotel experience for us . Keep it up middle eight ..till next time
This is probably my favourite hotel to stay in London. It’s close to my work, has an excellent bar and the hotel rooms are lovely. I find the staff to be on the whole pleasant but if I’m honest one or two are a tad arrogant. The rooms are perfect for me but if you needed to work from the rooms then that is not really doable as they lack a desk. I’ve stayed here at least 7 times this year and will continue to do so, clean, comfortable and convenient.
Arrival and check in was swift with welcome drinks provided. As it was a birthday stay we were upgraded free of charge and were provided a beautiful cake and birthday card in the room. Room was gorgeous with complimentary drinks and snacks free of charge on the first night of our stay. I was very impressed when sat in the bar area - the staff immediately checked whether we had a nut allergy before providing us with a snack. Given we have a niece with a very severe air borne nut allergy this was great to see! Thankyou for acknowledging the law on this / you would be amazed how many hotels/bars etc do not even consider this. Location is excellent with easy walking access to Convent Garden. We were lucky enough to get tickets to the QT lounge on the Saturday night where we saw Leo Green and his jazz band - absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced and not to be missed. Will definitely return to this excellent hotel
We have stayed in many five star hotels before, but the attention to detail at Middle Eight along with the friendliness of all of the staff topped them all! From the time our taxi arrived and Mo opened the door for us with a huge smile, asked how our trip was and introduced himself, we knew we were in the right place. I must say, as wonderful as everyone here is, Mo stands out, he took the time to know us by name, greeted us cheerfully every time he saw us and gave us great personal recommendations! Also, the bar and restaurant here are lovely. The beds are super comfortable & the location is perfect for getting around with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will only stay here from now on when visiting London!
Thank you for a wonderful stay for our first time in London! Everyone was on point and catered to our needs and questions for help. The bed was so comfortable too! Where can I get that mattress?!?! So nice to have daily housekeeping too. The location is central for all sightseeing, pubs and shows! Two tiny complaints are the control panel was a little frustrating to use and we did not like the soap as a small square cube! Your team was very attentive and we very much appreciated all of it.
Great location. Our room was comfortable, well presented and had everything we needed for our stay. What made the stay five star was the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. So nice to be looked after so well on check in and check out. Would definitely stay again.
