Good location between 2 tube stations, clean and quiet. Had an iron in the room- no fridge. Had espresso machine and kettle which were nice. Good tub/shower. Small room overall but nice sized bed. Small lifts, bar and restaurant in the hotel with reasonable prices. Not really a lobby for sitting. They will hold you luggage while you wait to check in or after checkout. My room only had a view of a brick wall.
Great location . Nice hotel, check in ok, room was a little dated and tired , nice bathroom, although fixed shower was very low ! Room was cold. Good breakfast, friendly staff, plenty of choice . Very disappointed with bar availability Friday evening, no juices available, so no cocktails!
Stayed here for one night. The hotel was in the perfect location for the theatre and restaurants. Tanveer on reception was wonderful and gave us a free upgraded room and breakfast. Hotel was clean, the room was spacious and the breakfast was tasty. I would definitely stay here again should the need arise.Rooms: 5/5
Just back from a two night stay, our standard room on the top floor had seen better days but it was peaceful, with a nice view, good air con and a decent size for London. The location is perfect for the British Museum also handy for Covent Garden and the West End with a couple of decent pubs just across the road. Breakfast was pretty good too and staff friendly.
Just finished a 4 day stay starting Sept 6, 2024. Great quite location but still very close to everything! Room was very nice with good size bathroom and great shower! All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to especially recognize Sarath who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant which we eat at every morning. I travel a lot and I’ve never seen someone so attentive to what the guests need or want! His example has obviously rubbed off on Raj as well! Great stay, thank you. Walkability: Close to so many attractions
This is a lovely, quiet and smart hotel. It's very close to covent garden, loads of resturants and shops. Several rail and tube stations are within short walking distance, so made this an ideal location. Breakfast was basic, but had all the essentials to set you up for the day. Special mention to the reception staff who are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Definitely not a 4 star. The service, the decoration, the equipment and quality isn’t there sadly. The bed and pillows were bricks. The toilet flush was impossible to press, shower was dripping here and there,… The plus is the location of the hotel which is amazing and the room is spacious.
Having visited London many times, I've now found my go-to hotel. The rooms were great, as was the location close to multiple Tube stops and the British Museum. The staff was friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional. We could not have been more pleased. We only took the Tube a few times because we walked to many of the places we wanted to visit.
Extremely Disappointing Experience Due to Racist Treatment!! I'm compelled to share my appalling experience at this hotel, despite being a reputable chain. On my recent visit, my group and I encountered overt racism at the entrance and reception. The evening reception staff displayed blatant disrespect, rolling their eyes and refusing to assist us. Their behavior was unacceptable and made us feel unwelcome. They literally treated us like garbage. That is the level of disrespect I am talking about! The evening reception staff displayed blatant racism, rolling their eyes, making us feel like we didn't belong, and refusing to assist us with our requests. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. It's unacceptable that in today's world, people still face such discriminatory treatment based on their race. As a frequent traveler to the UK for work, I've never faced such racism. I'm shocked and disheartened. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this incident, provides necessary training to their staff, and ensures that such behavior is not tolerated in the future. Until then, I will never set foot in this hotel again. I usually do not put up reviews but this was just unacceptable!
spacious & clean room! the sofa bed was not very comfortable though. we loved staying here, breakfast was served the same everyday. absolutely loved the pain au chocolate.Rooms: 5/5
