Wasn’t like what I know before! Bathroom needs maintenance. You can’t control the warm water in shower, cold or hot The room service is up to standard but not regularly scheduled; some time they provide twice a day and some time once a day. No gym no lobby. The room is too close to each others. If they press bell to other room; surely you think it’s your room The staff try to help and support but out of their control They need to work more to keep their high standard and reputation Good experience but never comeback again 6 out of 10 Rooms: Need maintenance Safety: Safe place Food & drinks: They don’t have variety
Disappointing Experience at The Wellesley Knightsbridge I had high expectations for The Wellesley Knightsbridge, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by an encounter with a front desk manager who made me feel unwelcome. Her attitude was cold and dismissive, and it felt as though I was being treated differently because of my ……. This behavior is unacceptable, especially at a luxury hotel that prides itself on exceptional service and hospitality. The rest of the staff were courteous and professional, but the treatment I received from the front desk left a lasting negative impression. No one should feel uncomfortable or singled out based on their background, and I hope the hotel takes steps to ensure all guests are treated with respect and dignity. While the location and amenities are excellent, I cannot recommend this hotel until it addresses issues with its staff and creates a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests.
My stay at The Wellesley Knightsbridge was wonderful. The hotel exudes elegance, and the service was exceptional. We did experience an issue with the air conditioning in our room, but the team acted promptly and professionally by offering us another room to sleep in while they fixed the issue. Their quick and attentive response made the situation much more manageable. Overall, a great stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Incredible location right on Hyde park corner. Hotel staff is incredible. Top notch service. We only stayed for a night but wish it could have been longer. Don’t miss the cigar lounge at night. An incredible selection of cigars and whiskeysRooms: 5/5
I read some negative reviews but I decided to give it a go and boy I was so glad I did. The rooms were luxurious, modern, and cozy. The bed was so comfy to sleep in as I woke up with no back pains and felt refreshed. The staffs were very kind to give me a tour of the boutique hotel shoutout to the kind lady at reception from Poland - sorry forgot her name. The butler Susan was great as well. I recommend this place and can't wait to be back!
Have really enjoyed this hotel and believe the staff do a brilliant job, especially the concierge. However the attitude of the manager can leave you enraged. Sad that such a great hotel can be let down by poor management.
I stayed last night in this hotel on explorer rate.on 4th august 2024.Room no was 205. in Mornig around 8:10 Am when I came down for request for a late checkout so front desk agent that was a Arabic guy I guess I really shocked when I saw his reaction . He start asking me why you came in hotel where are you going right now why are you going. I told him friendly I am going on a meeting so he start asking me oh you going on a business meeting he start threatening me you are not allowed explorer rate I am Going to charge full price of room instead of giving answer of my question.and he was terribly rude.i have never seen in my whole life this type of person that much rude for no reason . He was rude like he is going to pay for my stay for his own pocket. Can I ask Who gave him permission to jump into my life and for this behaviour? That time I was getting late so I left.Does he Allow to ask me even I am allowed or not as you guys had already verified upon checkin time.i don’t think this type of person deserves to serve Coustomer service.at end he was like ok I am not gonna charge you this time but next time be careful.. seriously? And he said check out at 12 in a rude way.Going to Attach receipt.
Exceptional is the word that comes to mind. We are only on day 2 of a 4 night stay and are absolutely in love with this hotel. The team is so personable and somehow all recognize you and call you by name which is incredible. The concierges are awesome. Genadi, Massimiliano and Richard went above and beyond for us setting up reservations, transportation you name it. The location is amazing definitely spring for a Hyde park view if you have the means to do so! The butler service was also very helpful with ironing/steaming clothes that got a bit too wrinkled from our travels!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Wellesley Hotel Knightsbridge for three nights in September, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's luxurious ambiance and elegant decor immediately set the tone for a memorable stay. My room was beautifully appointed with every amenity I could wish for, including a comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. The highlight of my stay, however, was the impeccable service provided by the staff. The team at the Wellesley went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a top-tier hotel experience in London. My stay here was truly unforgettable, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to the entire team at the Wellesley for making my stay so memorable!
They need to orient their staff on how to treat customers especially non resident customers. Very rude staff. They constantly confirming the minimum charge in their cigar lounge.Rooms: 2/5
