I recently stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with my experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. What really makes this hotel stand out is its central location, you’re just a few minutes’ walk from all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to explore Edinburgh comfortably.
Located in the new town, it's just next the tram from the airport and a big mall.nClean, efficient, lovely lobby to chill with free coffee and tea.nGood breakfast maybe a little busy, so better to go there earlier.nYulia was very kind and helpful when we left the bags in the morning. Arianna did the check in and explained us amazingly.
We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre! The location was incredibly central, which made it so easy to explore the city on foot. It felt safe and lively, with tons of restaurants, shops, and sights just steps away.nnOur room was spacious and comfortable, which was such a pleasant surprise for a city hotel. It gave our family plenty of space to relax after busy days out.nnThe breakfast was excellent—plenty of options, both hot and cold, and everything was fresh and well-stocked. It was the perfect way to start our mornings.nnThe staff were so friendly and helpful!! What really made our stay extra special was how the staff helped celebrate our daughter’s birthday. They surprised her with a sweet birthday treat, and it meant so much to her—and to us!nnOverall, we felt really well taken care of and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay in Edinburgh!
We’re giving this hotel a 3/5 given its central location and decent breakfast. I would say the rooms leave something to be desired. Ours had an odd smell, the shower head was broken, and certain parts of the shower were quite dirty. We did enjoy the beds and storage areas in the room, room was also sizable. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone with mobility issues as there are several staircases and quite narrow areas.nnAll in all we stayed here to get value for our money to be close to tourist sites, which this did provide but the accommodations leave something to be desired.
We had a great experience staying here. So nice to have a warm breakfast before heading out for the day. There is a small grocery store nearby for snacks, take away and drinks. Staff was amazing. We were able to store our big luggage here and take a 3 day trip with just backpacks to London. It was a little pricey, but it was during the festival so it was a fair price for the time of year. Super close to public transit and the tram to Edinburgh airport is literally right outside the front door.
