We had to delay our arrival for a few days due to weather difficulties (the beast from the east, if you recall!) and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating when I had to call multiple times to rebook our prepaid reservation. I was bummed that the circumstances wouldn’t allow for a refund of one unused night for our two rooms, especially since we were visiting from the USA without the ability to extend our trip after numerous delayed and cancelled flights. We would love to have been able to stay! The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was phenomenal and it’s a special treat that my platinum Marriott rewards status covered our daily breakfast with vouchers. The bar and restaurant staff were superbly friendly and helped us get to know the local brews. Overall, great experience, even if we paid a little extra.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable as it's fairly new. Although the door from the bathroom didn't close completely as there was a fault when they put it together and I was disappointed with that as I would expect that a 4 star hotel wouldn't let that kind of thing happen. Also it was my boyfriends birthday but there was no postcard in the room or anything. Would come back but think they should work on their customer service and attention to detail.

Very nice hotel. Reasonably priced due to road works outside. This is not a disturbance with noise. Excellent hotel near city centre and kings theatre next door.

Nice, clean rooms, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. We were able to check in early which was very appreciated after a long morning of travel. My only complaint is the frosted glass door on the bathroom... It may be a cool, modern feature, but it’s completely transparent and the lock can be “picked” with a piece of paper. Maybe not a big deal for most couples or families, but might be a little weird if traveling with someone you’d rather not see taking a tinkle...or with ornery kids who figure out how to pick the lock.

Staff were very friendly and professional. Decor throughout whole hotel was of high standard. Although I didn't eat in hotel, others in my party did and report good choice and quality of breakfast. The lounge and bar were frequented and I can confirm an excellent choice was available and enjoyed. Most definitely be back to this fabulous hotel.
