My experience in this hotel was fantastic. I let them know the day before that I was going to arrive at 11:00 am. As soon as I arrived 10 minutes earlier the lady the told that they gave an upgrade and my room was going to be ready in 10 minutes and that it was happened. When I was waiting another lady came to us and explained all the tours that we can take during our stay in Edinburgh. The service is wonderful, everything is clean and well maintained and only 8 minutes walking distance to princes street. I would recommend this hotel 100%
Excellent location.nKind staff in reception.nRooms are nice but a bit difficult to make room for two suitcases.nWould have been nice with something to hang your coat on behind the main door.nnOur lotion dispenser was empty upon arrival. We asked to have it filled. Next morning we realized that the body soap and shampoo dispensers in the room was empty too … and it is actually quite easy to tell if they are empty by looking at the side of them. I believe the cleaning staff could have done a better job here. Also, hair was on the dispensers in the shower. Could have been washed away during cleaning.nOverall an ok stay here.
Thanks for a fantastic stay. Our room was so comfortable, deluxe twin, spacious, super comfy beds, lovely mugs, espresso cups, a great coffee machine and generous teas/coffee sachets. Gorgeous toiletries, large bathroom and a stunning view of Carlton Hill. We loved the hotel location and the very comfy terrace. The best part, the staff, so welcoming and friendly. This hotel has quality fixtures & fittings, brilliant staff and a fantastic casual, relaxed and sumptuous atmosphere. It would have been 5 stars, had there been room service and a higher power shower.
I am currently staying at this hotel and I am absolutely delighted with my stay. The room is very clean and spacious, and all my specific requests were respected. Housekeeping is done every day .nnThe bedding is extremely comfortable, we sleep very, very well. The location of the hotel is also excellent: less than two minutes from the tram that goes directly to the airport. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and shopping centres nearby, which is very convenient.nnThe hotel is very well located, beautiful, and the staff are truly friendly, whether at the reception, the bar, or the housekeeping team.nnWe are truly delighted with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
No parking, and proper information on how to get the supposed discount were not shared early enough so it was impossible to obtain the so called 40% car park discount. You apparently get a discount code from them which they did not share in advance and request the discount when reserving your parking space on the shopping centre parking site.nOther colleagues did not have their rooms ready either.nThey tell you your room number and let you go, no proactive guidance at all. Did not even mention the breakfast hours when we were given the room keys and told breakfast was included...nPlenty of room to improve there... For that price. We would have expected much. better.
