I can't say enough good about the Adagio! Perfect location to public transportation and right in the heart of the city center with shops, pubs and restaurants. Rooms are airy, modern, feature kitchenettes, including a dishwasher, and feel like home. Huge praises for the staff. They are friendly, accommodating, and felt like family, and go out of their way to be helpful. This really is a top notch home away from home! It's the little things that make a difference, and this crew does it well. Thanks so much!

Great location on the Royal Mile. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and in good condition. No exhaust fan in bathroom is a problem. Also no hair conditioner provided. Towel rack has complicated method to enable it to actually heat, and this was not explained to us despite discussing issues with staff. Laundry in basement with pay to use washers and dryers is useful. Nice lounge and WiFi provided.

I wish I could find a studio apartment as well put together as the ones here. The Adagio is a great place if you want to be self contained & independent; if you're looking for a full service sort of hotel, that's not what this place is about. It's a little way outside of the heavily tourist oriented parts of the Royal Mile, so it's a little quieter, but there are a few nice pub & restaurant options less than a minute away.

Only complaints are lack of exrra pillows and the fact the bed is a FoldAway with no sofa. The aparment could be bigger as there was no room for our suitcases. Staff were very helpful with pleasant attitude

With all there was to choose from on the Royal Mile, I'm glad we booked here. The room was modern, spotless and large with tons of storage, it was quiet, the location was good, and the service was friendly and outstanding. It was so nice to have the small kitchen and a large refrigerator during our stay. My only complaint was that the bed was one of the least comfortable I've slept on in recent memory (very hard), and the hair dryer had a short circuit.
