The #1 Hotel in London. The service was the best we have ever had. We have two kids 5,4 and the way they set up the rooms was exceptional. They also gifted each kid a small sheep which they loved. The food was incredible and we hope to be able to come back in the future. Rooms: Great set up and great bath for the kids. Nearby activities: Great shopping and food near by! Safety: Always felt safe especially with the kids. Food & drinks: The chef is amazing! Noteworthy details: The people who work there made me feel like Royality.
The Goring Hotel is incredible. The staff goes above and beyond. Months before my trip Sean emailed me with all of my questions and always offered his help. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Again, the staff made my experience perfect. The hotel is situated perfectly in London. I am looking forward to my next visit. The afternoon tea is wonderful! Rooms: My room was quiet. The bed was so comfortable. Huge tub to soak in!
I was only there for the Tea Service. It was a lovely experience. I'm from the US and very unfamiliar with the Afternoon Tea service. The staff was so gracious and didn't belittle me or create a tense situation. They were attentive and kind and I absolutely intend on coming back when I make my trip back to the UK next year.
The Goring Hotel is a 5-Star Hotel with fabulous intimate service. Breakfasts are amazing. My wife and I reserved an executive room and we were told that we were upgraded. However our room, although beautifully furnished and comfortable was very small and therefore disappointing. The bathroom was tiny. We expected better, but enjoyed our stay.
Charming luxury in the heart of London. The Goring achieves the almost impossible by melding exquisite luxury with humour, approachability, and a family atmosphere. While some high end establishments can leave one feeling admiration rather than true comfort, The Goring embraces you with its quirkiness and homely charm. The service is exemplary without ever being smothering and the food ranges all the way from hearty to delicate, depending on your whim. The dining room has been redecorated since my wife and I's last visit, and is worth the price of admission alone having been absolutely transformed. Easily the best hotel in London.
Enjoyed a wonderful evening in the Goring Hotel Bar with impeccable service from bartender Josh. Classy setting, beautiful decor, historic atmosphere and true British ambience. Josh makes a truly authentic "Queen's Cocktail," favorite of Queen Eliz II. Bar menu had delicious food selections to offer, as well. Live music and not too loud. FIVE STARS all around.
We have been using this hotel for numerous years, as we live a few doors away from the Hotel. It was a fabulous hotel, with fantastic staff. What has happened and we’re do I start! After eventually getting a wine list, there was only a choice of three over priced supermarket roses wines on there wine list?. All the old staff had gone and been replaced by three trainers , who did not know what to do and senior members of staff just doing nothing. This hotel has lost its way and do not be fooled by its royal connections. Would never return
The Goring is a luxurious, family-owned hotel exuding timeless elegance and impeccable service. Guests rave about the beautiful rooms, Michelin-starred dining, and stunning garden. Its prime location near Buckingham Palace adds to the allure. While it's a splurge, the personalized attention and refined atmosphere create an unforgettable experience, making it a favorite among discerning travelers seeking a truly special London stay. Rooms: Great Nearby activities: Great Safety: Great Walkability: Great Food & drinks: Great Noteworthy details: Great
Afternoon tea celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday at The Goring was delightful! The elegant setting, delicious sandwiches, warm scones, and attentive service made it a perfect experience. Highly recommend for a classic British treat!Rooms: 5/5
Five stars is not enough - the quality of hotel, service, and amenities are worthy of at least ten! Beautiful details throughout this historic hotel, the staff were warm and welcoming and beyond helpful - and the food and beverages were exquisite. Hope to return sometime soon!Rooms: 5/5
