Had a great time! The owner was super nice and helpful, as were the cleaning staff. Rooms were small and bathroom small which is totally expected in London /Europe in general and very clean! The outdoor balcony was a nice spot to sit. WiFi was reliable which was nice for uploading photos to family. Located in a really nice neighborhood, walking distance to Victoria's station. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast as we left so early for the tours we scheduled each day but I'm sure it would have been great. We had a really good time here and would stay again if in London!
Had a delightful experience in this cozy hotel! I stayed for six nights and felt all my needs were exceeded. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and chatty with my naive American questions. Full English breakfast was provided and so delicious! Room was clean, beds a bit hard, and in-suite restroom was a bit old but fully functioning. There is a small porch on the second or third floor that can seat a few people, and share wine or afternoon tea :. Location is also great, realized during the trip how convenient being next to Victoria station was. I believe the combination of price, quality, service, and size of the stay was great for the prime location in London! Thank you Mark and Simon!
This place is lovely, I stayed here a about 2 years ago, I had a delayed coach to Paris because of the snow and I tuned up here at 10pm and totally took a chance from seeing the outside. How lucky I was, In the end I had a lovely room, help with my heavy case, a good nights sleep and a fantastic breakfast. Veggie no problem. The room was simple and affordable for the location and the time I turned up! Just amazing. I felt safe as a woman on her own and comfortable. The dining room in the morning had a dresser with one or two pictures of cats on it which made me feel very at home. I cannot fault it, my only regret is that this review is well over due. The guest house is run by two brothers at the time and I dearly hope they are still there and content. This is the most unpretentious place you will find and so so friendly. I wish them the very best of luck. :
Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice and warm. The shower room was very small but there were other shared shower rooms if you find it too small. Breakfast was very nice. Would I stay again yes though not complety to my friends taste who I do not think would. Location is fab lots of shops as walking distance to Kings road and some nice bars cafes and pubs near by.
True London B&B experience idealy located. Our room was spotless and quiet. Our bathroom was small but efficient and with plenty of hot water. Simon and Marc are welcoming and friendly hosts who took turns cooking in the morning. Breakfast was perfect everyday. We just hope to have the good fortune to visit London again before their lease is up! They would be the first ones on our list for accommodations.
It's exactly what they say they are. It's affordable, but great for its price. The rooms are clean and well prepared. The people are great, and breakfast is delicious. The location is amazing! You're within walking distance of the station to and from the airport, and you can walk to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Natural Science Museum, and a plethora of other great places!
This hotel is perfect if you just need a place to sleep. The rooms are small and quaint, the owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, and the location is very close to Victoria station and is in walking distance to many tourist attractions such as Buckingham Palace. Also, I very much enjoyed the breakfast served there.
What a great place to stay. Location close to Buckingham Palace. Bus and train station a block away. Owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful as to how to get around. Great full breakfast, cooked to order every day. Would highly recommend staying there.
We stayed some months ago and meant to review then -- whoops, I'm a little late on that. Anyway, staff and location make this place a GEM. The rooms are basic I'll admit, but when you find a B&B that is so centrally located and has repeat visitors staying when you're there, you take note. Breakfast is included in the morning which is nice considering how much you can spend on food. When we go back to London, we will be staying here again.
An exquisite gem of a B&B in the heart of London! It's close by Victoria Station, for convenience. Be aware, its an old style town home with multiple flights of stairs up to the rooms. Also, the en suite bathrooms were added to existing rooms, and are quite small. Mark and Simon will take good care of you; Highly Recommended!!!
