Amazing hotel! It was my mothers and I first time in London and we are so happy we choose to stay at Tophams. The staff were so kind and helpful. The location was perfect and well connected to all the tourist sites in the city while being in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood. The room exceeded expectations with a comfortable bed and pleasant decor. Only downside was our room didn’t have a full length mirror but obviously nbd. If I ever return to London I will definitely being staying here again.
What to say about Tophams Hotel! After a horrendous day of travelling from the North battling train times, we finally managed to get to the hotel at 10:30pm that night. I had rang before hand to let the hotel know we would be checking in late and the staff were more than understanding. We were greeted by a lovely man who checked us in and our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was lovely, clean and up to date with the most gorgeous decor. The bath was definitely a welcome addition too! The staff were nothing but lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much for them and they were always there to greet us with a smile. I couldn’t recommend staying at the Tophams hotel more, I’ve never felt safer in a hotel and in a lovelier location too. Thank you again Tophams, we’ll definitely be back! :
Had a marvelous stay at the Tophams hotel in London. The room was small but it was perfect for our stay. The location is a dream - away from the hustle and bustle but close to everything. SUPER close to an underground station. Lovely restaurants and cafes close by. Great neighborhood! The staff at the Tophams was amazing!!! They were so accommodating and let us check in early, and check out late. I would definitely stay here again. I loved every minute!!!!
The area that Tophams is located is great. However, we spent a lot of money to stay 10 nights at Tophams and was thoroughly disappointed. I stayed in contact with management before our arrival to make sure we didn’t lose our room due to paying for an extra day not thinking about the time difference on arrival. With that being said not one time did anyone tell us that the air conditioning to the building was not working. Nor did they say that the hot water was hot for a few seconds then cold for a few seconds but never consistent. We were given two small fans and told to open our windows. In which we did because it was extremely hot inside the rooms. With opening the windows we also had a street light right outside of our room which lit up our room all night long and people could obviously look right into the room as we laid in bed. Granted we were on the 3rd floor but there are buildings across the street that could easily see inside. After two nights we paid to stay at another hotel to get some sleep for a night in hopes the air would be fixed because this room we had already paid for. Needless to say it was never fixed. Management not one time talked to us about the situation. Front desk help I felt very sorry for because they caught the hell for it. Management obviously could careless. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The bar area was never open. There was mold in our shower. There was hair on the bathroom floor that was not ours. We went here for our wedding anniversary and sent it laying in sweat with a fully lit room unable to sleep. Thanks Tophams definitely made our anniversary memorable. Avoid this place. Do your research as there are plenty of options in and near the same areas.
Nice little hotel Rooms are small, breakfast was really good, staff helpful, I found the location good but we walked around everywhere. We had rooms upstairs as we had Travelled from Australia for a 5 week trip stairs are a bit of a hazard we made it though and it was a 2 night stay so suited our needs Walkability: Close to Bus stations and train
This is my new favorite hotel in London. So charming. The gentleman who checked me in was so helpful! I realized at 11 pm that I did have an electric adapter, he lent me an adapter for the night so I could charge my phone. Reasonablely priced.Rooms: 5/5
A lovely boutique hotel so central in London. If you fly in to Gatwick it is a quick 30 minute express train ride to Victoria Station and an easy 5 minute walk to the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room while small was well appointed. We enjoyed sitting in the little patio area having a wine or coffee. If you're looking for a standard hotel, this isn't for you. If you want to feel as though youre in the heart of London lifestyle, then stay here! In the heart of Belgravia district there are fabulous restaurants and boutique shopping on your doorstep
Air conditioning was broken so room was baking hot, double room was so small there was no space for bedside tables. Felt more like staying in a friend’s spare room with an en-suite than a hotel. Aside from that it was nice. The lady on reception was extremely helpful.Rooms: 2/5
We were there in August. Wonderful place and staff. We were in room 7 which was very clean and comfortable. We would very happily stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
Just got back from a two night stay, staff was friendly and helpful , room was recently refurbished , air con working perfectly, great location. Would definitely recommend and stay again.Rooms: 5/5
