We really enjoyed our stay at this property. At check in we were helped by Rhea who was incredibly kind and was able to upgrade our room for status, as well as provide information about the area. The property is in a very nice, central area and right next to the underground station. The majority of the property seems very nice but some is slightly outdated.nnThe rooms themselves are nice as well but you can tell they need an update. Nothing wrong with them - everything worked, beds are comfy, just showing their age a little.nnWe will definitely stay again next time we’re in London.
This is the second time I've stayed here the first was during the coronation and I will be back! The room was one of the larger ones we had during our whole trip, which was great. The air was difficult to figure out but I'm grateful we had a window to open. One of the best parts about staying here is how close it is to the Tower Hill tube station. Proximity is so great and convenient. We didn't do breakfast while we stayed, but saw plenty of people having their breakfast. There's also Natural Kitchen, which is a great second option. The rooftop bar is amazing and has great views.
Stayed here as the rate was okay for central London at the weekend. I haven't stayed here since 2019 so was unsure what to expect.nnCheck in was pretty quick for me, but I saw other times where there were long queues with people waiting for quite a while. The hotel is pretty big, and there were 4 check in desks open so it wasn't lack of effort but volume of people. Even so it could be made more speedy with some tweaksnnCheck in staff were super helpful and friendly, and our rooms were King exec so fairly recently updated I believe and quite stylish, if small.nnBed was comfortable but the aircon was pretty poor overall, and could do with a upgrade. Bathrooms are also small with a step/ lip to the shower so a note of caution. Saying that the showers have good temperature and pressure, welcome as its not always the case in hotels.nnThere is an executive lounge which is small but nicely done. We didn't sample any of the offer as we were out but I can imagine it getting busy enough to be full in a hotel of that size.nnThe lobby bar is odd. Its literally a bar rather than cafe/ seating area immediately off the entrance. It gets cold, feels exposed, and is just badly located.nnThe gym is small and not particularly well equipped. There are 3 treadmills, 1 x peleton, 1 x cross trainer, and a normal stationary bike or 2. Unfortunately both of these were off or out of order. There is a small weights section with a very limited dumbbell selection, a cable machine and a bench. There are no kettlebells. There is 1, very old and thin, gym mat. There are a couple of strength machines. It is cramped and only really possible for 2 people to weight train in the weights area. Disappointing gym.nnThe hotel is clean and light. The breakfast is good with a solid range of offerings, including different yoghurts, porridge, bagels, breads, pastries, fruits and hot food. There are some Pancakes, waffles, and muffins/ cakes, and 2 coffee machines. Only having 1 toaster is a problem but, to my delight, pots of filter coffee are available. There are also a handful of a la carte options.nnOverall we had a positive experince in clean, comfortable rooms, and we would stay again if the rate was right
We have stayed at this hotel a few times now for both business and leisure. Each time they have been incredibly busy but this never has an impact on the attentiveness of the wonderful staff. The front desk take time to have a personal conversation with you and you really feel like they care about every aspect of your experience. We were visiting on this occasion for work but it also happened to coincide with our Wedding Anniversary. We were allocated a beautiful room with a cake and heartfelt message to help us celebrate our special occasion. We really appreciate the effort put in to make things special for us. As always, a fantastic and very comfortable nights sleep. Very convenient location a stones throw from the Tower yet an extremely quiet area close to the tube station. Breakfast was fabulous with everything you could wish for whether cooked or continental was preferred. We did not have any faults at all. The staff really do understand how to care for their guests, and needless to say, we have already booked again.
I stayed at this hotel on a weekday in early December for a business trip.nFrom around 10 p.m., it became impossible to rest in my room due to extreme noise and vibrations. After checking, I realized the hotel was hosting a DJ dance party.nnThis disruptive event went on late into the night on a weekday, completely defeating the purpose of a hotel— a place to rest and sleep. Instead, it turned into a terrible venue where the rooms literally shook from the noise, making it impossible to sleep.nnI honestly want my money back. And if the hotel insists on holding such ridiculous events for inconsiderate partygoers, they should clearly state on their website: “We will be hosting events that make it impossible to sleep. If you need rest, do not book this hotel.” Their complete lack of consideration deserves criticism.nnIf you actually want to sleep, do not stay at this hotel.nnAlso, although the hotel does have an executive lounge, it’s extremely small, and during cocktail hour there is almost no food available. It’s impossible to relax there.
