Our stay at Shangri-La The Shard was truly unforgettable.nnOur room on the 50th floor was beautifully designed, with exceptional attention to detail. Every element reflected quality and comfort. The bed was, without a doubt, the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The signature Shangri-La fragrance, the same one I experienced at Shangri-La Istanbul, instantly made me feel at home.nnThe infinity pool was the highlight of our stay. The water temperature was absolutely perfect, and floating there felt like swimming above the whole of London. The pool area was spotless, the facilities were luxurious, and even the towels were incredibly soft. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a truly five-star experience.nnI would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable London experience.

Absolutely great place to stay. From the service to the location, it ticks all the boxes. The rooms are beautiful and have stunning views.nThe valet staff are super kind, take great care of your car, and always ask if we'd like them to bring the car in or out. Once you're inside, every member of staff you see around the hotel always greets you, and the reception team are very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable as well.nThe room itself is really clean when you check in, and for any additional room service, the housekeeping team are super sweet, although we never actually got to see them. Every time we requested room service, they had always taken care of the room before we even arrived back, so it was always great coming back to a clean, fresh room.nnAdditionally, they really pay attention to the small details, which I really appreciate. We usually try to leave the room as neat as possible, but they still went above and beyond. The pillows were placed perfectly without any creases, and the bedsheets were the same, stretched out so neatly you couldn't even see a single crease. We also noticed they had arranged our belongings very neatly, picked things up and placed them on the table, and something I wasn't expecting, they even folded some of our clothes we forgot about.nWhoever looked after our room on the 40th floor on 8 May before 6pm during our stay, thank you very much. We really appreciated all the effort you put into making our room feel so welcoming.nAnyways, the room service food was pretty good, especially the kids' meal, which was really nice.nI can't forget the massage either. I had a one-hour massage with Jess, and she was great. She always made me feel comfortable and checked in on me throughout the treatment to make sure I was okay. Thank you so much to her!!
We just got back from eight nights in the London Suite at Shangri-La The Shard and honestly — it's one of those stays you keep talking about long after you're home.nnThe suite is on Level 38 and the views are simply extraordinary. Floor-to-ceiling windows, 180 degrees of unobstructed London skyline — Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are right there in front of you, St Paul's, Canary Wharf, the Houses of Parliament, and on clear mornings we could even spot the Emirates Stadium to the north. The deep soaking tub faces the view directly, which sounds like a small thing until you're actually in it with London spread out below you. The furnishings, amenities, and butler service all matched the setting perfectly. Not a single weak detail.nnBut the real reason to stay here is the people. Jessica the manager is exceptional — she's the kind of person who quietly makes everything work before you even notice it needs to. Proactive, warm, and consistent across nine days. And Wyine at the front desk — our welcome on arrival day after a long overnight flight was warm, graceful, and set the tone for everything that followed. We didn't forget her name.nnThe London Suite is a genuine bucket list experience. Views, soaking tub, suite quality, staff — it all comes together in a way that's hard to find anywhere. We're already talking about coming back.
We splurged for one night at the Shangri-La The Shard during our vacation in London. We were greeted warmly by Jessica at the reception who walked us through our luxurious stay. We booked a Premier View room which was a corner unit on the 37th floor with a view towards and over the Shard Quarter from the living room and a view of the railway tracks and Tower Bridge from our bathroom. The view is definitely the wow factor with floor to ceiling windows. We were able to enjoy hours of just looking at the view from our sofa while sipping wine and cheese. The bed was heavenly and the bath with a view just has to be experienced. We used the 52nd floor pool and sauna along with GǑNG bar both of which need to be reserved. We had breakfast included as Expedia Gold members and chose room service, which came in a lavish presentation. Overall, we found the experience to be truly unique and definitely worth the splurge.
