My aunt and I stayed in a room with 2 single beds. We were very pleased with the newly updated space. We knew the room would not be spacious but it was fine. The breakfast has everything you could ask for and the other restaurants are very good. The hotel is close to the Tube and you can walk to many areas; including Trafalgar Square, the British Museum, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden and many more. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family
A mixed bag.nnWe stayed for three nights. First we were put into a room that was incredibly hot possibly due being next to a ventilation machine and we couldn't even open a window because of the smell of grease and food. Room 675, a no-go.nnUpon request we were moved to another room where conditions were decent. We stayed in a room not yet refurbished but it was quite okay yet very basic.nnBreakfast was decent, staff super helpful and friendly. And you could not ask for a better location staying in London, IMO.nnAnd the price was not bad at all. However, the conditions in the first room were atrocious. Therefore only two stars to the rooms.
The hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk everywhere. The renovated rooms are small but very modern and functional. For work-related reasons, I ended up staying around 5 weeks and felt very comfortable. But best of all is the hotel staff. They are very friendly and helpful. I want to thank Paul and Senait in particular for an exceptional service and making my long stay more pleasurable.
The hotel was in an excellent location, close to stores and restaurants. Very walkable and close to the train. The hotel itself has 3 restaurants including one that’s open 24 hours which was very convenient! The room was smaller and a little dated but very functional and had everything we needed. The bed was also very comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. It’s a very busy hotel but they get you checked in quickly. I would stay here again!
Friendly staff and good location, but absolutely appalling shower situation -- the bath wasn't draining properly, there was black mildew underneath the non-slip map, and the shower hose only stretched up to my chest I am an average height woman making it extremely difficult to wash my hair. Couldn't imagine if I'd had back problems and wasn't able to lean over in order to wash, it simply wouldn't have been possible. There also were no outlets anywhere near the bed only one on the other side of the room and the room shook every few minutes when a train went by, keeping me up at night. Overall not a good experience unfortunately and wouldn't recommend!
