I had a really good experience here. At first my code to watch a film was not working on the web and I called up Cineworld Enfield and spoke with a very helpful employee who helped ensure I was using the website correctly. It was also such a gorgeous place full of colour and life and being the first time I have visited a cinema since the pandemic I was very pleased and felt super welcome I will definitely be coming again+free car park!!!!!!
Had a fantastic day at Cineworld. We watched “Plane” What a Great Movie it was. Well worth watching. Staff were really helpful.
Went on a whim to watch a 4DX film. Ordered online all good. I get there and there are two people working the kiosk. One person in front of me. This took 10 minutes of queuing. Really slow service followed by giving the customer the wrong change. For bottled drinks and pop corn He then sneezed into his hands and didn't sanitise. Post COVID this is a problem for me. Anyway he gets to me and I order a small wine and a mixed pop corn. Still no sanitizing. He checks which film I'm watching it's 4DX so no wine allowed. Fine. People next to me obviously knew about the wine thing as they managed to take in a large bottle ‍ By this point I'm just annoyed after going from early to late in an empty cinema. I like the trailers. Just up sell me a coke or something. Nope nothing from this guy. So I just leave everything. Get to the entrance. Check my ticket so I ask for my glasses. Have to open my phone again. When he just saw it. I'm Still annoyed so this annoys me more. Get to the film. Which is great. 4DX maybe a bit too much throwing about and don't go with nice hair because you get lots of wind puffs in your hair which is quite fun. I also enjoyed the smells they throw out - nice ones. Cinema was also a nice temperature. Overall online purchase is easy, film was good, building is nice. Staff need some serious training. I can see why it was empty. If you have the option to go to another one eg: Barnet everyman go there. Their customer service is always top notch. Update: February 2023 The movies for juniors is good for kids and a good price. Expect noise but also don't worry too much about yours also being noisy. Also the girl taking my tickets upstairs was kind, polite and happy. What went wrong. Lift is not working which is difficult with a pram/ kids/ scooters etc... No signs and no people to help. No access for those with mobility issues. Customer service still poor. Ordered 4 munch boxes - which are a good price and pop corn was fresh. But at £3.70 a pop the total was £17.10 ... Cashier tried to over charge then took ages for manager to fix it. I imagine that these are popular in the movies for juniors section. But still very slow and still the wrong price. As this is the second time I've seen this they really need to up their training. Manage busy times better. Pre fill some boxes or have a system that doesn't mean you walk from one end to the other. Once again one customer in front and a 15 minute transaction. This could be a nice cinema.
Awesome imax experience. Easy accessible theatre.
Some staff have such a bad attitude the rudeness was absolutely disgusting, zero customer service but beyond that just general courtesy and manners seriously lacking. Why work in a hospitality job when you have such a negative anti customer ethos and zero problem solving skills and worst still a foul attitude. Will be making a formal complaint to head office. Some excellent staff at ice cream counter and staff when leaving the film. But the experience before the film was simply appalling. Overheard her saying something about can I go on break. Just sums it up. Conflicting information from other staff. Food stand looked horrible compared to other cinemas didn't want to buy anything. ice cream was nice as was staff member. Film experience was good maybe could be calibrated a bit better and screen had some defects and chair wasn't always timed correctly but overall good. Definitely gone down hill in recent years. Sort out the bad apples in your staff seriously letting cineworld down.
This place is a disgrace. We are Unlimited Customers. We turned up, waited for ages to get our tickets checked by five members of staff who were just having a conversation and not paying us any attention. We eventually took our seats, waited for fifteen minutes and nothing was happening. The screen was -3 degrees, the air conditioning was still on and the film hadn’t started. I sent my husband to complain. When the staff turned up, they prioritised a couple who were not members and exchanged their tickets. My husband and I were left to wait for an additional 15 minutes and directed to call customer services. I asked to speak to the supervisor. The place should close down. It’s clear that the place has deteriorated beyond recognition. Avoid at all costs!
This is my families favourite cinema! We have unlimited cards so experience this Cineworld often every month… staff are friendly. Many screens to cater for lots of different movies, as well as great selection of food. The free car park attached is a great bonus- with restaurants close if we want to have a bite too.
Nice cinema just the staff for buying food on cinema hall is to slow. We spent around 20 minutes to buy the food. We did have just 2 customers before us but the guy at the till was so slow. If you want to buy food from there I suggest you to make sure you're well early enough to have time before the move starts.
None of the automated ticketing machines were working and the particular screening / seating area were I saw the film was too cold with the air conditioning set below normal room temperature. Other than that, everything else was fine and to the usual standard.
Over all a good experience. The majority of staff are friendly and the Starbucks team are excellent. Let down by the lift regularly being out of action and the ground floor disabled toilet has been out of action for atleast a month, which has a real impact when the lift can't be used to access facilities on 2nd or 3rd floor.
