Went to a couple of movies here and it's a really cozy cinema. Last movie I saw was Michael and quite enjoyed being in a not too big cinema room, feels like watching a movie with the community rather than when you're in a huge cinema room with over a hundred people. Place is clean and good popcorn/snacks.
Went to watch Super Mario Galaxy today on screen 1 with my family. The fire emergency lights covered 1/3 of the screen.nI raised this with the staff as I have never seen this in a cinema where we are not sitting in a dimmed room.nI understand that all premises must have Fire Emergency Lights, but for a $100m film, and after spending £130 on tickets, food and a toy I expected something more from the staff other than “thank you for your feedback”.nDon’t go to screen 1.
What a bizarrely shocking cinema, any home projector is better than this now.nnThe sound only coming from the front is strange enough, but the screen being so low-res and the projection within even smaller is crazy.nThen the movie starts and you think “screw it I’m here now”nThen the alignment gets SO BAD ITS NOTICABLY MISALIGNED with the upper edge being noticeably smaller than the bottom, trapezoid style.nLeft and never going back
Perfect Family Outing!Had an amazing family day out watching Toy Story 5! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the movie was fantastic. We booked the premium seats, which were super comfortable, and got a great deal using our Lloyds discount tickets. Highly recommend!
Do NOT go here. Worst cinema I have been to in my entire life. Ryanair economy had more leg room than this and that's an understatement. Terrible audience, many people were standing in front of others during the movie and taking photos with their flash on, standing on the stairs shining their torches onto people's faces, scrolling through Instagram during the movie. Go somewhere else and save your money!
