The peak of cinema experiences.nnIf you haven't experienced something like this before you will be amazed at the size of the cinema rooms. Massive would be an understatement.nnThe lobby area is very spacious though they can do with faster service at times. There are no prices displayed anywhere at the counters which I find insane. You have to ask the staff how much every single thing costs to be able to make a choice. And post COVID-19 inflation has really had an impact and made cinema experiences quite pricey but that is not a VUE issue.nnOne thing I really don't like is that you have to pick your seats with different seats having different pricing. That's a bit too much money milking for me. I would prefer they just had the lowest price and seats was first come first serve like it has always been. I paid for seating at the back and ended up in a basically empty room and couldn't help feeling like I should have just paid for the cheapest seats and just sat anywhere I wanted since the room was empty.nnOne advantage of this particular location is that it is situated within a retail park so you can park for free, as opposed to other VUE locations that are within malls work paid parking.
A comfortable, no-frills cinema: clean throughout with decent, comfy seats. Good for families, prices are usually lower than many other cinemas in London.
Very poor hygiene in the toilets, the smell is so bad it’s unbearable. People not paying for VIP seats seating in the VIP section when this should be controlled better. This has been a constant issue every time I’ve been there. Also the prices for popcorn and drink have become so extortionate that it’s not affordable for a regular household. £14.99 for a drink and popcorn is really taking the mic when it was under £10 not to long ago.
The cinema is tired & lost its sparkle. The staff are clearly not very motivated & are few in numbers. Security is questionable. Like all cinemas the food & drink prices are too expensive. However, it is such ** GOOD VALUE ** the film and the screen size are very decent. You can see a film for £5.99 in reasonable viewable seats. I may spend £1 more on my seat never buy the premium seats and I get a great / comfortable cinema experience. Its affordable cinema. Currently I am not very moneyed and I appreciate the Vue enabling me to take my family of 4 to see a film for under £30. It has also been a place for my kids growing up to go out combined with a McDonalds. We will miss the Vue when it leaves North Finchley.
We watched Jurassic World Rebirth here. The seats were comfortable. I likes the recliner seats. Nacho with cheese and salsa were yummy. Overall a good experience
