Stayed there with my daughter as a special treat. All hotel staff were friendly and professional, especially Ella, who went out of her way to make this stay really special! Thank you Ella you obviously enjoy your job!nThe hotel room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely, comfortable bed. With a great location and we would definitely recommend this hotel!
An immensely convenient location near the centre of Cardiff with secure parking on offer. The hotel reception is open and spacious, there is a bar to the right, and on sunny days, you can sit outside and experience the hustle and bustle of Cardiff shoppers and revellers. The staff were friendly and helpful.nnWe had a room on the fifth floor facing away from the town centre. Our bathroom was outdated, with one of those unreasonably high baths to get yourself into for a shower.nnHowever, that was only a minor setback to what was a fun two night trip to Cardiff with my wife.
It's ok - nothing really wrong but not great either. The building is showing its age built in the 80s, the room I had didn't have a desk, which I find odd given how standard that is. Breakfast wasn't as good as I had expected for the brand.
Incredible central in Cardiff and 2 minute walk from the Principality Stadium.nMy son thought we were millionaires when he saw the room.nMust be impressive as he volunteered to use the shower!nThank god the beds are comfortable to faint on.nAmazing view of the whole city too.
Very good and clean rooms, bathroom, restaurant and bar and service which you would expect from the Marriott and price per night that goes with it! The hotel is also right smack in the middle of the city centre, very buzzing and great night out options nearby. Though I have to say that in our room the Aircon was not working. Really disappointed!!! And that too during the middle of the heat wave. That's why I have given only 3 points for the room.
