We stayed here due to its convenient location - close to both the railway station and the Utilita Arena, where we were attending an event. They are both just a few minutes walk away.  It is in a very busy part of the city, but as someone who has to take ear plugs with me for hotel stays anyway - looking at you, people who hold shouty conversations in the corridors and drag their furniture around their rooms whilst Irish dancing - so the external goings on wasnt an issue for me.nnWe booked 'Executive Rooms' which gave us access to the lounge, including for our breakfast, which was nice as it was quiet.  The rooms are on the recently refurbished mezzanine level, and they were a good size, clean, and well maintained.  The bathrooms had the very rare quality of having hair conditioner that is actually any good!nnCheck in was a breeze, the ladies on reception were efficient and friendly.nnThe lounge had more in the way of food than I was expecting, think of a minature airport lounge.  There was plenty of room to sit, and having breakfast in there felt a lot more relaxed.  The member of staff in there at breakfast time was great, got me some veggie sausages on request, and they were lovely! The breakfast buffet had good quality food.nnI usually stay in the Hilton when I come to Cardiff, but was rather disappointed with it the last time I stayed - looks like I've found a new place!

I had the pleasure of staying at Cardiff Marriott Hotel from 10 June to 30 July 2026, and it truly felt like a home away from home.nThe hotel is in a great location, my room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and I really enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.nWhat made my experience truly exceptional was the outstanding service from the hotel team. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Reception staff – Mark, Tam, Deborah, Cherry, and Zsofia – and to the Housekeeping team – Anita and Clare. Every one of them was friendly, professional, caring, and always greeted me with a genuine smile. They made me feel welcome every single day and treated me like family. Their kindness and dedication made my stay so comfortable and memorable.nThank you all for your wonderful hospitality and for making my nearly two-month stay such a pleasant experience. I truly appreciate everything you did for me and look forward to staying at Cardiff Marriott Hotel again in the future.nHighly recommended!

Excellent location- right by shops and restaurants, with most things just a short walk away.nHotel room was clean, beds were comfortable, check-in staff were friendly and efficient.nInstructions for the underground parking could be better sign posted, as it was alittle confusing with what looks like a restricted access road.nBut would definitely choose to stay again when visiting Cardiff again.

We had a really lovely stay at the Marriott Hotel Cardiff. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming.nnWe were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an executive room, which was completely unexpected and made our stay feel extra special. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—definitely a nice touch that we really appreciated.nnParking was on site, hassle-free, and really easy, which made a big difference and took away any stress when arriving and leaving.nnBreakfast in the morning was beautiful, with a great selection and everything fresh and well presented. It was a perfect way to start the day.nnOverall, a great experience with friendly service, a comfortable stay, and a brilliant location. We would happily stay here again.

My husband and I stay at the Cardiff Marriott in Cardiff City Centee regularly.  The location is superb for shopping and night life as is pretty much on the door step.  Can't fault the service from the team at the hotel from check in through to breakfast staff.  They recently acknowledged my husband's 50th birthday with an upgrade which we were thrilled about.nnRooms are clean and comfortable.nnBreakfast is great.  And even though we go down towards the end of the service the team always accommodate our requests if anything has run out.nnThe onsite bar is stylish and modern and perfect in the spring/summer when you can sit on the terrace.
