We stayed for one night here. The room was OK, clean and quiet. The beds were good, the decor and bathroom were in need of some refurbishing. The breakfast was OK, we've had better, but also worse (we're German, so a good breakfast means something different to us than to others). The staff was very helpful. As others have mentioned: There is no lift, and the hotel is from the first floor upwards, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several stairs.

Great hotel for what you pay for. It is basic, but the staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. I recommend staying here over a corporate chain budget hotel such as Ibis. It's a family run business and is in a great location. The only thing that stopped this hotel from getting 5 stars is that the shower was really cold. Would I stay again? Sure.

Can't fault it. Clean and tidy. Staff were brilliant. Will definitely stay here next time we are in this neck of the woods.

Excellent value and a wonderful welcome for a city centre hotel. Dont expect the frivolities, just expect good service, a comfortable room and a wonderful cooked breakfast. The noon check out is an added bonus! Absolutely brilliant!!

For the price, impeccable in terms of services provided; excellent staff, very helpful! Happy to have chosen this place for my visit to Cardiff!
