Story

Our Jamie's Italian restaurant in Cardiff is perfectly situated right in the heart of the city centre. With St. David's Hall, The Motorpoint Arena and the Millennium Stadium all within a five-minute walk, it's the perfect spot for a post-Rugby dinner or a bite to eat before catching a show. As Jamie's Italian Cardiff is part of the St. David's Shopping Centre, we're also ideally located for a mid-shopping pit stop to take the load off.

During summer, we open up our beautiful outdoor terrace, which is an amazing spot for watching the world go by with a nice cold glass of Prosecco and some of our delicious Italian food.

I have been here a few times and each visit is exceptional. Pasta dishes are always a go to for me as I love it so much and each dish I have sampled have been so tasty and fresh. I had the truffle pasta to start and it was so simple and delicious, I could taste all of the ingredients. I can't fault the lunch time set menu, incredibly good value for money considering you're eating at a celebrity chefs restaurant- not just any old place! Service is also very efficient and friendly :)

Went during the Christmas rush so was very busy. Wasn't cosy at all but the food was pretty good. At times pretentious (everything comes on boards, very small portions, some strange ingredient choices) and annoying (menu items like 'The World's Best ...', 'Jamie's favourite ...') but in general a nice experience.

Oh, and it wins the award for the best smelling trip to the toilets 2017. Seriously, the stairs go past the kitchen and it smells incredible. The most memorable part of my visit.

Very expensive for what it is. The food is average and service was slow. Edit: came here for one last chance. Their new roast dinner menu.... I had the roast chicken. I’ve had more chicken on a nugget. The gravy very sweet, more suited to a dessert. Roast potatoes was the biggest let down, more like boiled potatoes, disgusting.

This restaurant belongs to the renowned chef Jamie Oliver and offers a great menu. On the weekend, you will queue up to 45 minutes in the cold but don't worry! Waitresses will feed you with bruschetta where you stand. Once inside, you will be surprised by the level of service which is simply incredible! My favourite dish is the Fritto Misto

I have always enjoyed Jamie Oliver and was so excited to finely go to his restaurant. The way we were greeted by staff  when we arrived was appalling. We all walked out as we were shocked by there rudeness and will not go there again.
