This hotel is central and great for anything in the city centre. It is just round the corner from the station where a shuttle train runs down the the bay. Our room was really quite despite the road outside. We will definitely be back.

Great hotel and close to many touristic points. Clean, organized, great bed and shower. I would stay there again in another trip to Cardiff. They had a problem with the elevator when I went there, but I think it's solved.

Located close to the City Centre and easy to find either on foot or in the car. No parking on site, but there is an NCP car park across the road and a multi-storey NCP about five minutes walk away (£9 for 24 hours which is a great price). Not so close to the livelier part of town that you'll be kept awake all night, but on the downside it does overlook the railway line on one side so you might get an early morning wake up from the train. Breakfast is available for £8.95 which is probably about what you'd pay if you went to one of the nearby cafés. Room was adequate - much the same as other Ibis hotels I've stayed at.

We didn't have any problems with checking in, staff, cleanliness of the rooms etc. We had a good ground floor room which was good for us as we didn't fancy stumbling up stairs after the event we were in town for had finished. The only thing I'm going to comment on negatively is the beds. Although there was a mattress topper provided as standard - it felt as though I may have well of slept on a cardboard box. I couldn't get comfortable whatsoever and even if I did - the moment I thought I was about to fall asleep, I woke up freezing and in pain due to the hard mattress. :(

Great hotel in the centre Cardiff close to the major shops. You can walk to the Principality Stadium and Castle easily from this hotel. Staff friendly & very helpful. We visited when the Snow dogs were on display and stayed with our dog as the hotel is doggy friendly. The rooms are a good size clean & functional. The hotel overall was clean & served a nice breakfast but slightly pricey for the breakfast. However it's a buffet style so you can help yourself. The coffee was good and we enjoyed our stay. You can park opposite the hotel & if you say at reception they will give you a £5 off voucher. Cheaper parking in the multi storey around the corner. Great hotel for all the events happening in the lovely city of Cardiff.
