For a budget hotel, this ibis strongly exceeds expectations. When I came, breakfast was £6 a head for all you can eat. Staff were kind and considerate. 5* for service but mainly due to the lack of expectations. I do not expect amazing service in a budget hotel but feel we still got more than we paid for.nnDouble room is reasonably sized, excellent shower facilities and spacious enough if all you plan to do is sleep or surf the internet.nnLocation is great, a five minute walk from the City Centre, and 7 minutes walk from where the coach gets in.nnAbsolutely fantastic, and £38/night. Great weekend, thank you all.
No frills in the centre of Cardiff. Great value, great location, car park on site.nnCouldn't get into the fully booked car park but found a space nearby.nnWould have got 5 stars if the sink had been in a separate room from the bedroom but accommodation is sufficient for a one night stay
For a cheap budget hotel where even a kettle with coffee &tea is extra it was lovely. The room was spotless. The staff were super friendly. &of course being able to bring the dog is a super plus.nI'd definitely book to stay there next time I'm in Cardiff
Our room had loads of flies and bugs in the corner of the rooms, there were no lights on and it wasn't sunny so definitely a maintenance job that needs assisting to. There were no condiments in the room like coffees or shower gels. For the price paid I would not recommend
Rooms are small, beds are comfortable. The toilet is so small u couldn't swing a cat, the toilet door u have to push open and u can't really be quiet if someone else is sleeping in the room. Shower is also right next to the bed not far away that u could have a shower when someone else is sleeping in tbr room.Reception wasn't very friendly at all they only spook when they gave us the key.
