For the price, this hotel is very good. Good value for money. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. Only negative comment I have, is that there is a lot of stairs if you get a room on their top floor - and no lift.
Nice hotel for such a low cost. Our room was clean and warm, the mattress was comfortable,we had clean towels and some complementary shower gel and soap. The person in reception was kind and friendly and even let us in our room to put away our luggage so we didn't have to wait for our check-in time. Overall we had a great experience, would definitely recommend.
I was there by chance but I am so happy I booked here. I plan to book again anytime I am back in London. This is a very cozy place and location is excellent. The old building is already an experience, it doesn't have elevator but really stairs are easy and is quite cool walking them. I truly recomend it! Harry took very good car of me and will do the same for you.
Looks shabby with shredded flag outside. Needs redecorating but comfortable & warm. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Shower was cold unfortunately in one room. Rooms look out onto the high street at the front but not too noisy, quiet rooms look out onto back yard at the rear. Great location for tube & Natural History Museum. Nearby activities: Near the Natural History Museum & South Kensington tube.
The location of The Brompton Hotel is perfect. It's a two minute stroll from South Kensington Tube Station. Easy! The rooms are basic but clean, with a small fridge, iron and ironing board, safe for valuables, kettle and tea/ coffee facilities.
No lifts. Cold water in 2nd room I booked. 1st room was ok, clean and tidy. Convenient but no services on site. No breakfast etc. Walkability: Near to hospital and facilities.
This is a wonderful truly English experience and place to stay while you explore London! The hotel is a “grande old dame”, with the flavor of 200+ years of history behind her! The neighborhood is fabulous and the people are welcoming! Nearby activities: Numerous! Check the maps! Safety: Hotel safety and neighborhood are secure. Walkability: All amenities available within walking distance, including hospital, hairdressers and the Tube! Food & drinks: Food from around the world in this neighborhood!
Small hotel with excellent location. Don’t expecy snything exceptional, but if all you need is a bed and a place to shower the location is great. 1 minute walk to the underground with access to both Circle and Piccadilly. 45 mins to Heathrow, 15 mins to Kings cross. Walking distance to a handful of museums, Hyde Park, and a bunch of cafes and restaurants. There’s no elevator so be prepared to haul your luggage up the staircases.
The internet was totally unusable. The stairs are horrendous and there's no elevator. The walls are so thin. You need a code if you're entering past 11 pm. Just spend the extra 20 pounds somewhere nicerRooms: 1/5
First time in this hotel. I'm already loving it! Very friendly and professional staff. They meet and greet you at the hotel entrance. The room is for two and I love the shower. Hotel is near South Kensington station. Lots of restaurants around. Best long weekend in London ever!Rooms: 5/5
