I have stayed here a few times, and I come back for several reasons. The staff are lovely - friendly, efficient, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. I appreciate that they are well-equipped, have good climate control, and are quiet. The hotel bar and restaurant have a good selection of well-priced and delicious food and drink, and of course the breakfast buffet is magnificent. I have recommended the hotel to several friends, who have also enjoyed their stay here.
Excellent location with the Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington Tube Station, museums and Harrods all within easy walking distance. Very comfortable room albeit the room was not that big, all facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Happily visit again.Rooms: 5/5
The initial experience with staff was excellent. I enjoyed the checkin and my luggage was sent to my room with ease. Smaller rooms than the website photos suggested so that was a negative. No mini bar, that was a negative. Comfortable bed and good hot water. The breakfast experience was underwhelming and the coffee was fast to pour but very average flavour. I asked one of the staff for marmite and they couldn't help me locate it or know what it was. I thought that was weird. Checkout was a good experience. Overall 3/5
From the welcoming smile from Reception on arrival through to our departure it was a great experience. The bar and restaurant provided great food and drink at a reasonable price and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Now that we have found it, it will become our go to place for future events. Already rebooted for next month. Rooms: My room was a single and a little smaller than i would have liked. It was adequate for one night. Nearby activities: All the top museums, V&A, Natural History, Science just over the road. Royal Albert Hall one street back and only a few minutes to walk. Food & drinks: had an early evening meal in bar area and it was very tasty and exactly as ordered. Price was very reasonable for such a hotel.
I love the staff, they were all kind and accommodating! The room was also nice. Slippers were the only thing I wish they had because I forgot to pack them. I know some higher-end hotels provide them, but other than that, It was a great stay! I love the drink vouchers and the breakfast included.Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I came to London to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We could not have been happier with our experience at the Rembrandt! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot with strong consistent water pressure. The location was central to everywhere we wanted to be, directly across the street from the Victoria and Albert and a few blocks away from Harrods. Staff were very helpful and kind. The complementary breakfast was elegant and well-appointed. Overall, this will definitely be our destination hotel for further trips to London. Rooms: Room was exceptional for the price - we looked right out onto the main road and it was still quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Just enough room for the two of us. Nearby activities: Walking distance to great shopping like Harvey Nichols, Harrods, and other nice shops. Grocery stores nearby, plus museums and restaurants. A very short walk to the South Ken Underground. Walkability: Right in the middle of everything!
I stayed here after a long flight to recuperate before heading home to the Midlands. The room was comfortable quiet and well appointed and, being a regular visitor, I was able to check-in fairly swiftly. One negative to this most recent stay was a more senior reception staff member being very condesending / openly dismissive of her more junior colleague / trainee. He was trying his best to check me in and welcome me and his requests for support from her always came with a slightly barbed reply from her which set me ill at ease. Everyone has to learn and I felt her attitude towards him was uncalled for.
I travelled down from the NW Euston. I was in a rush to drop off my cases at the hotel and get back to the City for a series of meetings. The receptionist recognised my urgency and let me drop of the cases - being happy for me to delay completing the registration until my return later in the evening. Registration and the reception team were excellent. I was asked to provide photographic evidence and an actual credit card. I do not carry such evidence in case of pick pocketing and do not carry actual credit cards - but have e-cards on my phone. The reception team were very understanding. My room warm, clean, cosy and I had a good night's sleep. I could hear the person above walking around due to creaking floorboards, but that is to be expected from time to time. Breakfast was good, although I would have preferred a greater collection of pastries, cheeses, and cold meats. In the morning, the concierge allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel whilst I attended a further meeting in the city. I was shown around the adjoining health and fitness facilities - which was good. Rooms: Room was clean, warm and cosy Nearby activities: Shopping Harrods, Music venues at Royal Albert Hall, Walking in Hyde Park Safety: I felt safe at all times. There was also a safe in the room Walkability: Within close walking distance from South Kensington tube station Food & drinks: Fanastice selection of good bars and restaurants close by Noteworthy details: Available Spa. Relaxation lounge
The staff are so lovely here. It was our anniversary, and they made it extra special with rose petals and towel swans on the bed! The bed was comfy, and we stayed in a quiet, clean room. The bar serves nice cocktails, and the breakfast buffet has a nice selection and fresh juice. Thank you for a great stay! Nearby activities: Right opposite the natural history museum, a 10 minute walk to Harrod's, the serpentine and Hyde Park isn't far either Walkability: Really close to South Kensington station and Knightsbridge tube Food & drinks: Lovely cocktails in the bar and nice non alcoholic beer.
Staff at the Rembrandt were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and better than expected. Breakfast had a little less choice than I’m used to in London hotels, however the food was very tasty and of good quality, particularly the bacon and sausages, which can be hit and miss in hotels. The location of this hotel is superb. Close to tube stations, steps from some of the best museums in the world, and a short walk to Harrods, Harvey Nichols and other first class shopping venues and restaurants. I will definitely stay again at this excellent, great value hotel! Rooms: Our room was spacious, in good decorative order, clean and pleasant. It was perfect for our trip. Safety: No concerns about safety in or around the hotel and this area of London like most others feels very safe. Walkability: One of the best locations in London for walking. To Harrods or Harvey Nichols for shopping. Along Cromwell Road into Earls Court area. The V&A, Natural History Museum, the Science Museum all across the road. Short walk to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. Food & drinks: Breakfast was excellent, hot and of good quality. The cooked breakfast items were all very tasty and well prepared.
