Very nice location and the room I stayed in was more than adequate. It lacked a kitchen however, which was a downside. It makes sense as it's not an apartment. It is close to several museums including the science museum, my personal favourite. For cleaning oneself a shower and complimentary shower gels. The cleaning staff are friendly, as a bonus.
Honestly I wasn’t expected to have a tiny room and stay for 3 days, it’s not about the room they provided but all the room extremely same, also the reception wasn’t friendly and the cleaning service were not good enough..However, I do not recommend this hotel if you planning to stay in this Area more than 3 days.Rooms: 2/5
missing 1 * because of being kept awake by family at 2 am until 4 am. Wasn't a big deal but lost 1 star not keeping business guests who get up very early from holiday or other guests. Otherwise this is a splendid hotel with brilliant staff. The room is immaculate , the area is ideal. In 18 years working around the globe and living in 100s of hotels, I can honestly say I have never had such a bargain for the price I paid. I was due to move last week but have extended to stay as long as possible. Great hotel, and very well run.
Loved this hotel a few years ago, shame they have no rooms available for our trip this summer
Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location near the museums and tube stations. Room was small but not that small. Wide single bed was quite enough for me and my wife. Breakfast was simple but I appreciate the possibility to have it at the hotel anyway. Very clean and tidy place.
Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. The rooms are very small. Cleanliness was outstanding. Situated opposite the natural history museum. Close to shops and the tube. The walls were very thin. Could hear conversations of your neighbours. We didn't have breakfast as it was an extra £10 for a continental breakfast. But that would be standard for London. Plenty of places too eat nearby. Ideal for a couple of nights. Would return.
Brilliant location. Staff were professionally polite and competent rather than truly welcoming. Rooms were a bit on the small side but perfectly adequate. Beds were comfy and showers good. The price was pretty good. I would stay again if I'm in the area
The hotel was in a pleasant location just 5 minutes walk from the South Kensington tube station. The staff were friendly although I arrived late and left early so didn't get much interaction with them. The room was very small but clean a trade off I'm happy with. That said the shower was incredibly small, I'm not that tubby, yet I couldn't turn round fully without knocking my arm on the wall, that said, it's cheap, it's compact and it's ideal for 1 night, maybe 2. There was plenty of plug sockets, a small desk and tea making facilities. There is a TV in the room, but as you'd expect, it too was small. I would stay here again but would expect to pay no more than £100 per night price as of May 2017.
Good location, value for money and friendly staff. Our room was very small with a tiny double bed to fit. Small but very modern shower/ toilet. Clean with fresh towels daily. Bigger bed - more stars!
Good location near two underground stations. The hotel is modern and tidy. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that didn't bother me. The bed was comfortable. The shower is good, but the bathroom could use some heating. Breakfast was well worth its price. I would go there again.
