I recently stayed in an upgraded premium king room at this hotel, and I expected so much more for the price I paid. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room had visible mold in the bathroom, broken tiles, and a stained carpet, all of which were concerning. However, what truly shocked me was discovering a blood stain on the mattress topper. When I reported this to the front desk, a staff member came to my room and instead of addressing the issue professionally, he questioned why I had looked under the sheets in the first place. I was completely taken aback by this response. Throughout my stay, I found the staff to be consistently rude and unhelpful. On my last night, nearly a week after I first reported the blood stain, someone called me asking if I had received the "accommodations" they supposedly sent up as an apology. Not only had I received nothing, but the person on the phone couldn't even tell me what those accommodations were supposed to be. The lack of communication and concern for their guests' comfort was truly disappointing. I expected so much more from this hotel, especially given its location in Kensington. I do not recommend staying here; there are many other hotels in the area that are likely better choices at the same or even lower prices.
This was my 3rd time staying at a Meliá hotel, and as expected, everything was great. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was good, and the location is fantastic—right next to a station and a Waitrose. The room was clean and quiet.Rooms: 5/5
As expected from entrance to exit the hotel is very quiet and very cosy. The reception was great from the gentleman’s are working there. We went for a quick walk and when we went back the gentleman in the front desk is very polite and friendly with a nice smile. Room was very nice and very clean. I did liked it. That greetings Ben extended to the room by having a good welcome card from the guest relations dep, with a very nice card was writing by hand not printed “it’s mean a lot” and thank you very much for that. Keep up the good work guys. I did this article review and am still staying for almost a week. First impressions mean a lot, Rooms: Nice & cool Nearby activities: Indeed Safety: Very safe Walkability: Close to every thing
Very pleasantly surprised. I booked the cheapest, ‘cozy’ room and despite a basement location, it was thoughtfully and stylishly designed with a great bathroom. Great location close to the tube and museums.Rooms: 5/5
Probably the worst 4 star I have stayed in. The hotel is a maze, the room numbers are not in order so I got lost going to my room all the time, most of the elevators were not working. The area is lovely, the rooms are tiny, the housekeeping staff do the bare minimum, they didn't replenish the stuff in the mini bar, they left the trash on the table, The hotel doesn't offer complimentary water in the rooms at least not mine the staff was generally very nice except the one lady at reception who was standoffish when I was looking for a meeting room telling me to use my room. The walls are really thin so i could hear stomping from above from 7am when I was trying to sleep in. I asked for an iron and it never came despite me waiting 30 minutes. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.
My best hotel experience in London. Anniversary weekend with my girl and we arrive to the room with a beautiful upgrade, chocolates and a congratulatory card. Weekend made extra special plus the staff were highly welcoming. My new London go toRooms: 5/5
Disappointing experience. The building is old and the walls are thin, with zero sound insulation. You can clearly hear conversations in the adjacent rooms and people walking upstairs will keep you up at night.Rooms: 1/5
Oh! How I loved this hotel, so close to a lot of attractions in London the tube station is right across the street. The location is perfect. The staff always treated me with respect. The rooms were cleaned daily which I loved. I will return to this hotel.Rooms: 5/5
Wonderful central location and a very clean, cosy room. But what sets this place apart is the service we received. A special shoutout to Peter, who might be the loveliest man we have ever met and he catered to our every want and need. Thank you Peter, you are a gem. Would highly recommend this place to stay, we will be back!Rooms: 4/5
Thieves. I would love to Write a great review for this hotel, but I can’t. Front desk star erroneously booked a sightseeing tour for me. When I pointed out the error, they said I had to rebook and the previous wrong reservation be refunded. A week has passed and that has not been It’s unfortunate.
