Howard and Catherine are an absolute delight, wonderful hosts. The rooms are clean and spacious. Decor is delightful. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be going back again!Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely recommended. Hosts Catherine and Howard are extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of food items, served in a light and airy dining room. Clean and cosy bedroom with a comfortable bed and a large modern tiled bathroom with huge fluffy towels. Will definitely stay here again when we're next back in Eastbourne. Rooms: Six rooms in total. Two are on the ground floor which helps for those with limited mobility, but not wheelchair accessible due to steps up to the front door. Noteworthy details: No dedicated parking but we had no problem finding parking on the road outside every evening during our 6 day stay.
Catherine and Howard are the perfect hosts. Had a very enjoyable stay. The room was bright and clean. We liked the option choices for breakfast and perfectly cooked. Would happily come back again.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed at Bassetts B&B for 2 nights with my daughter. It was our first visit and we were delighted with the experience. Catherine and Howard are excellent, most helpful and thoughtful hosts. Our room was so lovely, and spotless. All fixtures, furniture, bedding and soft furnishings were of quality and chosen with great care. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice of delicious food and served in the beautifully decorated dining room with view on the sea. Everything was PERFECT !! Hoping to return...
Howard & Catherine are the perfect hosts,so genuinely welcoming. The accommodation is so homely and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is everything you would want it to be, cooked to perfection. Catherine and Howard are the best hosts and really make you feel at home. I always book the family room which has an amazing view of the sea, is always clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is the best too. Served piping hot and never disappointing.
Wonderful little B&B with friendly, unimposing and well organised hosts. Also a stones throw from the beach with a lovely little private balcony to enjoy your breakfast on. Absolutely 5 stars
I can not recommend this place highly enough! Before we went i read all the reviews which were pretty good, and soon realised that everyone of them were true! The owners could not do enough to make your stay more comfortable. They are so in the right line of business! They enjoy pleasing their guests and doing what they can to ensure your stay in Eastbourne is a pleasant one. The guest house is well presented, clean and comfortable. It has a prime location right accross the road from the beach and has a sunny bright feel right through. The breakfast is good with plenty of it! Thank you for looking after Mum and I over the Easter weekend, and for giving us a lift to the Hipodrome on the Sunday! Look forward to returning in the future.
Catherine and Howard are remarqyable hosts. The house is maintained to perfection. Ultra clean with all amenities. The breakfast was perfect and the warm welcome was appreciated. Very well located, this one is a no brainer. 5 stars.
Stayed here 15/07/21 for a 3 day mid week break last minute. Cannot praise the place highly enough, Spotlessly clean, superb hosts and very friendly who made everyone feel at home. Will definitely be back some time in the future and recommend to friends. Thanks for a lovely stayRooms: 5/5
