All ok until check out we couldn't manage to scan a item the lady overseeing the tills did not want to get out of her chair.nWhen I asked for assistance her exact words were its self service mate .nSometimes people are in the wrong jobs well this is a definite and I will not be going back.
I had a problem with a click and collect order which was a garden swinging chair that had one set of duplicated parts two right hand pieces instead of mirrored parts a left and a right piece. I called the store and they advised to drive there to resolve, admittedly that was a bit of a pain because i live 20 miles away but the product was not in stock there. When i arrived at the store, a colleague named Daniel checked an open return from which he found the same duplicated pieces which led us to think it may have been designed that way, but another colleague opened a third box and found that actually I wasnt going crazy and that there was indeed a left and a right piece. The right hand piece i was missing, had a bit of a dent and scratch on it so the team arranged a partial refund which I was happy with. Thanks to Daniel and the seasonal goods manager whose name I didn't catch, both are a credit to the store.
The customer service at the Milton Keynes store was absolutely terrible. I bought a mirror, only to find out at the checkout that it required a separate fitting kit. I then struggled to find the kit and asked three members of staff for help, while my husband asked another two. Unfortunately, no one actually helped us, they simply pointed in a general direction and left us to search on our own.nAs we couldn’t find the fitting kit, we ended up returning the mirror and shopping elsewhere. I won’t be returning to this store again.nI’ve visited several other B&Q stores, and the customer service has always been excellent, so this experience was very disappointing. It’s a real shame that my nearest store provides such poor customer service.
While at the tills, I approached a member of staff with purple hair did catch her name who was sitting in her chair overseeing the area. I asked for assistance because an item I was purchasing would not scan. Instead of helping or directing me appropriately, she responded, “I don’t know, ask someone else.” Her tone and attitude were dismissive, unprofessional, and made it clear she had no intention of assisting.nnThis behaviour is unacceptable, especially from someone positioned at the tills where customers naturally expect support. I was left feeling embarrassed and frustrated, and it significantly impacted my experience in the store.nnI would appreciate it if you could look into this matter, address the conduct of the staff member involved, as if she look at other reviews people have complained about her, so my question is why she still doing that job ? Clearly not up too it!
Hidden behind a row of shops.nIf you find the area with next home in, Go outdoor is on your right, continue to the bottom of that road, turn left at the small roundabout and it's on the right .nIt's tucked away, but don't be fooled, it's very big.nParking is free for 3 hours.nPlenty of parking spaces available.nOutdoor section and garden stuff available.nThis b and q seems to have large sections of everything, and the bathroom section has alot of items on display.nThere's a work wear section too which is quite impressive with alot of variation for clothes.nTill service was average and could do with some improvements, but apart from that this store is one of the biggest b and q's I've visited.nOpen until 8pm every day except Sunday, when it closes at 4pm.
