I bought an est900 e bike 3 years ago along with another one for my wife. It cost nearly 2 grand each. I’ve done only 370 miles with it and it stoped working.nnHere’s where the comedy startsnWent to de Halton Rushden lakes where I bought it from to see what’s wrong with it but they said they don’t have a e bike tehnician and send me to Milton Keynes dechalton.nI went to Milton Keynes and the guy there Matt said I can’t just pop in I need to make a booking first . I said ok I’m not in a hurry book me in whenever you got a slot available . it was Saturday at that point nHe said I can book you in Tuesday . I said great see what you can do diagnose and fix problem if possible then I come to pick it up once you finish . He said I need to take the bike with me and come back again on Tuesday as they don’t have space to store my bike. I said I can’t do that I’m working weekdays and it’s 3 hours drive back and forth for me. So I left . I went home entered dechalton site and booked online a diagnostic check with the same store - surprise the next day on Sunday ! So after another day and another 3 hours drive I went again to Milton Keynes but this time I had a booking so they had to take my bike !nAnd they did but they told me their computer it’s not working and they can’t diagnose my bike .nI said no problem this things happen I leave the bike here and when you know what wrong and fix it you let me know and I’ll come to pick it up .nAfter 1 week someone called me and said they can’t do anything their computer still not working so my option is to wait more or to go somewhere else where they have a computer that works lolnI decided to wait one more week after that I went to pick up the bike and search for another dechalton .nFound another one in notthingam . I made a booking as I learned from previous experience not to be sent away !nSo I went another 3 hours this time North to notthingham . One arrived I told the tehnician my bike it’s not working . The battery it’s ok as my wife has the same bike I’ve tried it already the display it’s ok there’s no errors on it . Is just the electric motor drive unit not workingnNow the fun part !nAfter 30 min and 25 pound later for diagnosis I receive a paper that stated the culprit ! On the paper it says:nbattery ok ,ndisplay unit oknDrive unit not ok culprit found :nCan’t stop laughing as that exactly what I’ve said when I’ve explained what wrong with it when o brought it lol except now you put that on a piece a paper and charge me 25 pound for it !nAvoid buying e-bikes the after sales service is terrible
