Went here with my friend the other day and it was quite a nice experience! A friendly atmosphere with a cafe and shop in place, definitely recommend visiting here:nnThere's also volunteering opportunities and other activities that you can apply for so make sure to check that out if it's something that could interest you!
Visited with a friend and had an absolutely fab time! I am an animal keeper myself and could see all the animals looked very well cared for and healthy. Would have loved to see some more signage with names and breeds but the website had lots of info about them for anyone interested. Staff were all very friendly and the gardens were lovely. Would definitely recommend, a lovely peaceful space within the city, worth more than the £2 suggested donation.
Best place to take your kids to see some farm animals. Entry is free of cost but they accept donations if we would like to give. We can buy food for the animals from the store and the kids can feed them.
Visited today, we always make sure we support our local farm throughout the holidays/half terms.nnI booked for my two little ones to do the pony riding experience each which is one round each on the pony one at a time with two people assisting them.nnIt's a nice experience to have despite my son only being 3 years old but he really did enjoy it as it was his first time.nnThe farm overall has lots on and organise events and activities for all ages/stages often.nnTheir website always has the full information and updates regarding the dates and times and costs which are usually not too deer.nnThey have a small cafe and gift shop on site which also sells animal food £1 a bag which is also enjoyable for the children as well as the adults.nWe fed the goats today but the only sad point was that there were no pigs or llamas today.nnThere is also a playground on site and picnic benches.nnWe also took part in the meet in greet with a few of the smaller animals which is also one of my favourites.nnTickets to the farm are free but must be booked in advance.nnThe dates and times are online but the farm does run on donations so £5 a visit at least does help towards them improving things and taking care of the animals.nnMake sure to check it out if you pass or are local.
Wonderful day out with kids yesterday! The car park was packed so we missed our ukulele tour but the ukulele guy kindly offered to do another one as we had paid and also let another kid come free as it was the last one. We had such a lovely time!
