If you are the lucky person that reads this, DO NOT COME HERE.nEverything was fine with checking in, except they didn’t even show me around. They just told me my room number, and that’s all. That’s somehow acceptable; it’s understaffed.nSo when I moved into my room, everything was fine. The room didn't look dirty, but it wasn't exactly clean either. Imagine going to a hotel and finding hairs in the shower. Would you stay there or not?nHere is the best part; you can see from the pictures. The only kitchen area you're allowed to use is full of garbage, and the fridge is full of spoiled food. I don’t think any HUMAN can cook in there without getting sick. I don’t know which one is worse: that everyone knows about this issue and is not doing anything about it, or they don’t know anything about this issue.nI talked with the receptionist, and the only thing she says is that you rented your room from Londonist and you should talk with them; their rooms are not under our control. I think it was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I think it’s just a polite way to say it is not my issue; go somewhere else. This is your building, and they are damaging your property. Why the hell am I supposed to deal with this nonsense? Why are you not speaking with them? If they can't manage your property, you can fine them so they can fine the students that don’t know how to be an adult. The corridors are also full of dust. I talked with someone that’s staying in the same area as me she said that here is always like this and i just use here to heat something and i even do my dishes in my sink. Please solve this issue immediately.
Wick Park is a brand new student accommodation located at a walking distance from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.nThe property represents creative design thinking skills and provides a soothing experience.nThe team, Olivia, Taylor, Reece, Uma, Shreyansh, and Alpha offer prompt support for your needs and foster a one-team, positive culture at the building. They are highly approachable and showcase respect and a friendly attitude towards everyone.
I had the pleasure of having a tour of the accommodation at Wick Park to see if it would be suitable for my son when he heads off to university this year and it exceeded my expectations massively. Wick Park has so many lovely amenities from a gym, dry bar, karaoke room, selfie room and bookable private dining room just to name a few. We were given a tour by Uma, her vibe was so warm and friendly and she answered all of our questions enthusiastically, she is very knowledgeable and passionate about the accommodation. The design and decor is stunning and it is definitely my sons first choice for accommodation. I will update this review further if he secures a place there. Thanks for your time Uma! :
Impressed since the day I moved in. The numerous study spaces are one of my favourite amenities and provide such a lovely environment to get work done, the social areas too from day one were key in helping me meet new people, and continue to be a part of mine and my friends days, using the tv room or games areas. Again, another standout feature is the 24/7 reception, where the staff are not only there to assist with anything needed, but also always friendly and keen to chat!
Great staff and facilities. Placed in a convenient are with overground and tube station nearby. There’s 24/7 coffee machine available to all residents and they often collaborate with their local community to provide activities which help residents become accustomed to the area. Would definitely recommend for students!
