So beautiful. The best place in London, I think. Every place is beautiful, but this place has special energy. I really recommend to put it in a visit list, especially with the evening lights.
Tower Bridge, one of London’s most recognizable bascule and suspension bridges, beautifully combines Victorian craftsmanship with striking visual appeal. Stretching across the River Thames, its neo-Gothic towers and bright blue framework create a classic postcard scene. Inside the towers, the bridge’s exhibition offers an engaging look at its history and engineering, featuring the original steam machinery and glass floor walkways set 42 meters above the water, providing exciting views of the Thames and landmarks such as The Shard and St. Paul’s Cathedral.nnAdult tickets are priced at £12.30 with discounts available online, and audio guides are included to support a self-guided visit. The attraction operates daily, and booking in advance helps reduce waiting time. Although the glass walkway is thrilling, it can be unsettling for visitors who dislike heights, even though the structure feels secure. Accessibility is partial, as elevators reach certain areas, but stairs are required for most upper sections.nnWalking across the bridge itself is free and perfect for photos, especially in the evening when the lights come on. While the exhibition may feel a little limited for dedicated history enthusiasts, the bridge’s impressive design and riverside views remain major highlights. It’s well suited to families and first-time visitors, blending architectural elegance with insight into London’s industrial heritage. For a calmer visit, weekdays are best.
Architectural marvel, with the ability to make way for big water vessels. Worth a walk in the evening with lights on. The side walks around River Thames give a full view of the bridge.
Truly an icon. It’s mesmerising and beautiful any day and season. You can casually walk on the bridge, lot of tourists taking pictures but you definitely can walk past without stopping. Lots of shops and cafés around. Both sides are wonderful. If you’re lucky from a view point you will be able to see the bridge lift to let the ships past.
Beautiful Blue bridge that we got to ride on. London was very busy at the time that we were there, but we got to visit a few places which was amazing, like Buckingham Palace, river Thames cruise, the Big Ben, London Bridge
