Reviews
I recently stayed at The Ark in Canary Wharf, and it was a genuinely impressive experience from start to finish. A huge part of that was thanks to two staff members, Amey and Samuel, whose outstanding customer service set the tone for my entire visit.nnBefore my arrival, I was slightly overwhelmed by the sheer number of amenities the building offered. However, during check-in, Amey provided a brilliantly clear and friendly guide that made everything easy to navigate. He patiently outlined where to find everything from the 20th-floor indoor swimming pool and gym to the co-working spaces and wellness studio. This personal touch made me feel immediately welcomed and settled.nnThe studio itself was a perfect urban retreat. It was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with smart storage, a functional kitchenette, and a comfortable bed. The real highlight, however, is the building itself. Having such a wide array of facilities included like the cinema room, golf simulator, and the excellent Another Brother cafe on the ground floor felt incredibly luxurious and convenient.nnWhenever I had a question during my stay, whether it was for Samuel at the reception or another team member, the response was always prompt, polite, and helpful. This consistent level of service truly makes a difference. For anyone looking for a well-located, amenity-rich, and smoothly run place to stay in London, with staff who genuinely care, I cannot recommend The Ark Canary Wharf highly enough. It perfectly blends the convenience of a hotel with the comfort of a modern home.nnI shall return. Thanks again!
I stayed at The Ark Canary Wharf with my husband, and I felt compelled to leave a review because of the exceptional care we received.nnWe were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady called Latifa, who truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. My husband is recovering from cancer, and I wanted to take him away as a small celebration for coming into remission. From the moment we arrived, Latifa showed us genuine kindness and compassion. She took the time to sit with us, helped us with everything we needed, and even assisted us with our room.nnAt one point, we were struggling to get a cab, and without hesitation, Latifa kindly offered to pay for an Uber using her own money. This level of care and selflessness is not normal customer service, and it honestly meant more to us than she will ever know.nnShe met us with a constant smile and showed us extra care that truly went a long way. We felt seen, valued, and supported during what was a very special and emotional time for us. I don’t usually write reviews, but the fact that someone gave us genuine time, compassion, and dignity made us both feel deeply touched.nnI would absolutely recommend the rooms and the hotel. The Ark is a wonderful place to stay, and Latifa is a true credit to the team.nThank you for making our stay so meaningful.
My sister and I have been living at ARK for over two years, and we have absolutely loved our time here. The facilities are fantastic, the gym and yoga studio are beautifully designed, and everything we needed was always provided. The location is also great, with excellent transport links.nThe staff have been incredible throughout our stay, always kind, supportive, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The maintenance team were particularly reliable and quick to fix any issues. Honestly, the nicest staff ever. We are truly going to miss them and would not be leaving if it weren’t for a family emergency that required us to move into a larger space.nThe only downside was the lettings process at the end. Unfortunately, our situation was not taken into consideration, and we had to pay a considerable amount to end our contract, which was completely out of our control.nnSpecial thanks to our favourite team members, Ishy, Francisco, and Latyfeh, for always being so supportive and welcoming.
I was a bit nervous for my one night stay here after reading the mixed reviews, but I had a decent experience and for the right price would stay again. Checking in wasn’t the fastest at 5pm with quite a queue and they do indeed take a steep security deposit on arrival, but the staff were friendly. The lobby area is a busy space with lots of people coming and going, plus the cafe area full of people working, but it’s a modern and clean space.nnMy room was on the twelfth floor and the plentiful elevators ensure there’s never a need to wait. It’s more like a small studio apartment than a hotel room, complete with a kitchen area. While this would be handy for an extended stay, the small size of the room would probably get rather claustrophobic quite quickly. The bed was up against the window which opens properly, and there’s lot of storage and electric sockets adjacent. There was an iron and hairdryer in the room too. There is no air-conditioning but a desk fan was present and the lighting throughout was pleasant.nnThe bathroom was truly tiny and using the space effectively was difficult. Toiletries were provided in very small bottles, but the shower did have decent power and the towels were alright. Some touch ups to the paintwork would help make the bathroom as clean and modern as the rest of the room too.nnSleep quality was alright - yes the trains are very loud, especially with the window open, but the bed was comfortable and there was no noise from adjacent rooms. Housekeeping is only provided for longer duration stays.nnOverall for the price I paid it was a good value single night stay but for anything longer I think I’d struggle with the small size of the entry level room.
From the moment I arrived, the team at reception were just so lovely : Calm, friendly, chatty and genuinely accommodating with any requests. They’re the first people you see and speak to, and they really set the tone for the whole stay.nnI’ve stayed in quite a few hotels and I can honestly say the reception team here really stood out. They made everything feel easy and completely stress free from the start, which makes such a difference. Customer service is the thing that can make or break a stay and they absolutely exceeded it.nnBig thank you to Amey and Aravid especially : Such a credit to the hotel and I couldn’t recommend the service enough.
