I had my health assessment with Hannah this morning 8 July at 9:00am, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went.nnHannah was incredibly kind, understanding and professional from start to finish. She immediately made me feel comfortable, took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and gave me some really helpful advice. It never felt rushed, and I really appreciated the genuine care she showed throughout the appointment.nnThanks to her introduction, I’m genuinely excited to start my fitness journey here. It gave me a very positive first impression, and it’s clear that the staff are well-trained and truly care about helping people.nnAlthough the gym is currently undergoing some refurbishment, the facilities already look very promising. I was referred by my GP, and so far this programme offers fantastic value compared with other gyms I’ve used in the past, where I paid much more only to find overcrowded facilities, broken equipment and an environment that made it difficult to exercise properly.nnThank you, Hannah, for such a positive experience. I’m really looking forward to getting started.
Gym equipment machines broken infact there use to be 4 of these machines now there is only one. The other sitting with a sign on for over 2 months now its ridiculous. Yesterday another leg machine broken. The lines for the equipment when you are short of time are around 15 minutes on some days. With the amount of money per month for membership it's highly unacceptable. Since you are making so much money from the now children's playground surely the machines can be fixed promptly. Which company are these from? Surely they could replace the machine and fix the ones that are broken. A lot of gym users were annoyed yesterday with the latest break down.nAlso the showers up stairs are not ventilated. They were far better before the changes. More hygienic. Why did you change these at a cost and make them worse? It's bad management.
A nice community gym and pool, the staff are helpful and friendly.nI went for an induction as a complete beginner and felt at ease throughout with clear guidance and a good starting point.nnExceptionally good value for the facilities, and ongoing renovations mean that while some areas are a little restricted right now the facilities are only improving.
I have used the pool previously and because it's open, the breeze blows from inside to outside and it is vwry chilly when you get out of the pool in the winter.nI've been to kids parties there and it is pleasant enough.nI have had pilates classes and thoroughly enjoyed them.nAll in all,clean, friendly staff and accessible.
I am giving 5 stars because the instructors & classes are great however… since Kings closed, it feels overcrowded. Saturday afternoons are hell, lots of screaming children & buggies piled up everywhere. The cafe tables are left in a horrible mess and I feel sorry for the staff. Sorry but I have witnessed parents not picking up their child’s mess and walking away from the table, grim. The gym is packed and it’s hard to secure a class at 10pm as I’m guessing everyone is logging in to get a space. The water fountain and studio floor took months to fix. Studio 1 needs new lightbulbs urgently. They invite you to email customer service but they simply just ignore you. The temporary gym space needs to open please! Apart from my grumbling I like the centre as the fitness staff make it fun and enjoyable. Thanks to them, I’ll continue to attend and try to zone out all the other things that bring the centre down.
