A place where you can spend a great time with your young ones. This facility offers a lot of activities for both adult and children which includes swimming training or just a quick dip into the pool with your babies.nnThe pool is also accessible for individuals with special educational needs which is really amazing. The huge slide inside is also worth to try. Just do not forget to bring a coin to access the lockers; you can get your coin back before you leave.nnBaggy park, vending machine and cafe are also available inside. You might not be able to bring phones or camera to take photo inside.
I went there the other day after years of not going there. I didn’t even know they refurbished it over covid time. The place is much more modern, as the previous building was very old and dated. More floors, and more sports halls available. There’s so much more to do here now, with excellent views from the gym and studios. The tennis courts are on the roof too, which I found very cool! I’d be going more often to check the place out properly.
All the stars for the tennis courts on the rooftop - was a great experience in the sun. Be warned that you will pay to book the court and also be charged £3 if you are not a member just to get in though by unfriendly staff on the front desk. The tennis courts themselves were great, however the outskirts had quite a bit of litter.
Came today for the Splash pool from across town and we loved it! First the leisure centre is super new and clean, staff looks happy to work in such a facility and so do members. Second the splash pool is fairly big with enough activities/station so you’re not crammed with other families during your allocated hour. If you have toddlers or young kids take them there they’ll love it and you too!nnOn a side note, when at the cafes there was a sketchy dude insulting kids I know! and the security team came out in no time dealing with him and calling police who turned up in no time too. So security is also covered there!
Don’t waste your money here! If you plan on taking your kids to the splash and swimming area.nThis place used to be great, but now it’s just a huge disappointment. They’ve started limiting the pool to only 20 people at a time, and you have to line up and wait until someone comes out to get in. The problem? Once people are in, they don’t come out—because if they do, they can’t get back in. So you end up standing in line for most of your session, and before you know it, your time is up and you’re told to leave. Total waste of money and time.
