West Hampstead Overground Station has been redeveloped the entrance is much larger & wider now with plenty of ticket barriers to use aswell as ticket machines to top up. This station has lifts available to the platforms. The station was very clean and tidy also there is West Hampstead Thameslink station which is a 1 minute walk away and West Hampstead Jubilee line which is across the road.
This is the Overground Station. The Underground Station is across the road and 50 metres to the right. The national rail Thameslink station is around the corner, 100 metres away to the left.nThe Overground runs from here every six minutes east to Stratford and West to the transport hub at Willesden Junction, 10 mins away, stay on the train for Shepherds Bush, Chelsea and Clapham or Richmond.nThere are lifts here and really efficient, friendly and helpful members of staff that will assist you in your journey. Use a bank card to pay for journeys if remaining in the London area. That’s best value
One of a station which was build newly for overground service. Wide open station. Just a basic one but u can have more links like trains or underground service just next door to it. I got that station bright n airy.
This is one of three separate stations in West Hampstead. This is the London Overground station with services from Richmond and Clapham Junction to Stratford.nnIt has a large entrance with a decent number of ticket gates. The corridors to the platforms are wide and spacious so you never feel like there is a large crowd coming in or out of the station.nnThe platforms are in good condition. However, they could do with more shelters or indoor waiting areas. You'll have to stand in the corridor above the platforms to keep dry if it is raining.nnThe corridors and platforms are very clean, credit to the cleaning staff as they must work hard to keep it looking in good condition.nnI like using this station, I wish more Overground stations were like this.
Current construction work is making this station a bit of a squeeze. Adequate little station otherwise, a short walk from the underground and ThamesLink stations
