I truly enjoy this cinema. For me, it's close by, and the costs are reasonable. Although a somewhat smaller compared to some of the other larger theatres, the seating is generally pleasant, and the sound and screens are both excellent. The staff, who always serve with a smile and are courteous, are also very nice, as is the management. Best of all are the sweets/chocolate selection! I feel it does deserve to lose a star as it is starting to look a little dated overall inside and outside and the toilets definitely are in need of an overhaul they're not great at all!. If there weren't the positives like those above, this cinema would definitely get a 2 star from me!
Like to support this community cinema. Also great value. But if to return three improvements required 1 the car parking left me wondering if my car would be there on my return, needs serious improvement, 2 toilets are needing refurbishment or at least a good clean, and c seats need a swing table for popcorn etc. Nice staff - thank you!
Saw 'Living' last week. Lovely film and only about six of us in audience so no disturbance. Good value for the ticket. I avoid overpriced refreshments. The toilets should be enlarged. The woman who sold me my ticket was friendly and efficient.
Went to see avatar 3D. 2 stars as the prices was half compared to the other cinemas. The seats were old. Some even broken. The screen is small and between rows there is not enough space. One lady not taller then me was seating in front of me and her head was covering part of the screen.
Location is good but the cinema view is a bit odd. You have to walk infront of the screen anytime you want to go use the toilet
I liked it, but my son wasn't so keen. I found it comfortable and spacious, with friendly staff. Good choice of films and times. The surround sound added to the experience. Go by bus or train, though, as the local authority car park here is horrendous!
Either the ventilation / air conditioning wasn't working in the screens during my visit all the doors to each screen were propped open, which is illegal as they are fire doors, or there was no A/C at all / it couldn't cope with the high outside temperatures. Luckily, as few people were watching the film, the threatre did not heat up to a level where I had to leave, but it was still not a great experience. At least the tickets are cheap £6.50 normal price compared to the larger multiplexes, who've recently put their prices back up and to more than their pre-Pandemic rates, nearly double that this cinema charges.
Very clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the seating within the auditorium is very comfortable. Toilets are clean and accessible
Nice cinema, reasonably priced. Shame there was only 3 of us in the cinema but it was the 5 20 showing. Will be back
Wonderful place I go there with my service dog. They are so polite and helpful. I have been to other cinemas. This place, hands down is the best if your disabled. A wonderful young man by the name of JEREMY was most attentive and personable. He should be made the face of this cinema in helping disabled patrons .
