I went to watch ‘One Battle After Another’ their earliest afternoon showing.nnThe staff are very friendly and accommodating.nnIf going to see your film at the IMAX screen, ensure to get highest seats to see the screen properly and not be blocked by the tier flooring.nnAlso, make sure to give yourself ample space between other cinema goers. I don’t get weird people who feel so lonely and have to book a seat next to you, when the whole cinema theatre is empty at that time.nnThe staff member, kindly reassigned my seat and blocked others to be next to me.
I recently visited ODEON Luxe Swiss Cottage, a cinema very close to my home, and I absolutely loved it. What impressed me the most was the comfort of the seats. Even though we chose the last row, the seats were incredibly comfortable—they reclined, were soft, and spacious. There was also a rotating table in front of us that we could adjust to our liking, creating the feeling of watching a movie at home on the couch. The screen was large and flat, and even though it was far away, it felt like watching a huge flat screen TV at home.nnI’ve been to other cinemas, like the one in Westfield, where the screens are even bigger, creating the illusion that everything is happening around you. But in ODEON Luxe, the seating comfort really stood out for me. Another thing I liked was the beautiful lighting near the entrance, which added to the overall atmosphere. Plus, the ticket price was very affordable—only £14, and my friend and I were able to get a discount, making it even better.nnThere’s also a great option for a monthly subscription for just £20, which allows you to watch as many movies as you want at this cinema and in any other ODEON theater. It’s a perfect way to enjoy a break from the daily routine, whether you’re going alone, meeting a friend, or using it as a date idea. Highly recommend it!
Very slow process to order food and drinks. Have to use kiosks, can’t order at counter. Not enough kiosks at peak time + disorganised behind the counter = 20 minutes to get a single drink…
For the price of the tickets I would have expected more service. You have to order your own snacks and drinks from self service screens. You can only go to the bar if you have cash. You even have to fill your own drink cups! Popcorn is not salted enough, and the only way to get more salt is to use the little packets on the counter.nDon't bother paying for premium recliner seats, as they are the same as all the other seats. The screen needs to be higher as I couldn't recline my seat all the way without part of the screen being obstructed by the top of the seat in front.
Staff are friendly. This is usually my go to IMAX theatre, mainly for the audio and chairs, if your looking to see the bigger screens, go to BFI or Leicester Square Cineworld. You'll still unfortunately be paying high prices at this cinema, but I think some of it makes it up as the reservations in the chairs and just the comfortability of sitting down on them and having so much leg space is second to none, since being in a packed theatre wouldn't feel like it. Comparing this to its IMAX competitors, this has business class seats, whereas the others are standard airplane seats.
