So my wife and I went to view to watch Avatar 3 Ash and Fire.nOn the 3rd of January for 1815 showing, we were greeted by the duty manager Georgie who is a very good representative for Vue cinema.nWe had literally come across from Wood Green, where we had booked tickets for the same movie showcasing at 17:10.nUpon going into Wood Green cinema it became apparent the venue was terrible so we left within a couple of minutes.nWe explained to Georgie that we had just come across from a different site operated by Vue and we were appalled by the condition of it and really disappointed in the way that the complex was maintained.nHe put our minds at ease. He understood and listened to our complaints and apologised o behalf of the company.nHe changed our whole night and the atmosphere that we were in.nThe venue was well kept and clean we were in screen number 11. The seats were dated and carpets needed changing but the place was clean. Toilets were small and busy but in good order. Staff were attentive and queues weren’t long in the foyer.nPaid car parking at the rear of the site.nWe would visit again.
Ive been coming here for over 25 years as its local. Its cold out side and opting for an indoor activity where its so cold through a 3 hour movie i couldnt concentrate! Couldnt feel my toes and legs and had to snuggle into my jacket to keep my hands and face warm. Why on earth would you blast the aircon? Its was so unconfortable i couldnt focus on what i was watching and my nose was cold and running. I might as well have sat outside to watch the movie.We walked in before the movie started and thr lights went down.. seats hadnt even been cleaned. The toilets are so gross too with rubbish everywhere.. duty cubicles. So disgusted id rather go further away and pay more for a better experience. Wont be coming here again. Doesnt happen at cineworld, odean and everyman.
A decent 12 screen multiplex cinema situated on the top floor of a shopping mall. Never very busy on weekdays especially in the afternoons. A little bit on the shabby side but the screens are mostly large and of decent quality and sound is generally good. Seats aren't the most comfortable - particularly the VIP seats but they offer the best view points. Quite often though my viewing experience has been marred by people constantly talking - as is the case at most cinemas these days.
This isnt the worst cinema ever, but the seats are quite old and dirty and the concession stand was not well managed. We also entered the screen with no one checking our ticket the entrance was unmanned, so it seems that they are quite lax with security. Vue in other locations e.g. Stratford are all far better
The two employees that opened the store today were absolutely lovely. Best customer service I’ve experienced and made it by far my best experience I’ve had at the Vue or any theatre for that matter. They were so kind when making our food and ringing us up all the while opening the store it was really impressive and deserving of every praise.
