A decent 12 screen multiplex cinema situated on the top floor of a shopping mall. Never very busy on weekdays especially in the afternoons. A little bit on the shabby side but the screens are mostly large and of decent quality and sound is generally good. Seats aren't the most comfortable - particularly the VIP seats but they offer the best view points. Quite often though my viewing experience has been marred by people constantly talking - as is the case at most cinemas these days.
Disappointed, when you ask for hot drink, quite often get told the machine not working or no milk. These are excuses because the staff member can’t be bothered to go to the other counter to make the drink. 500ml bottle water, charged £3.49.nFor that price you can get about six bottles from supermarkets. Don’t have Gluten free Nachos even though they are easily available downstairs supermarkets and lot less than we would pay at Vue for it.nSee lot of mess on floor, quite often and staff just standing and chatting.nI find movie volume bit too high, bad for ears. Also they keep air conditioning on high, making it very cold. Brought the problem to staffs attention but nothing gets done about it.nWatched a movie with part of the lights still on, again staff didn’t do anything about it.nSeats are not very comfortable also VIP seats are not that comfortable and over charged.nOdeon Lux, slightly more but you get luxury reclining seats.nAlso very worrying, saw mouse running around. I did mention to staff, don’t think he was really bothered.
Incredible customer service from Jonas tonight. My girlfriend and I are regulars and Jonas made this our best visit yet.nIt’s always nice when someone has the time to greet you with warmth and a smile.nI hope that he gets the recognition he deserves. Thanks mate :
Long story short i did not see that my online ticket was booked at another brunch , so i was told by the woman manager who had a very macho attitude, so I talked to another member of staff LUKE a fine knowledgable ,polite and kind young English man. Luke was working , while calmly helping me to find a solution so i could see the movie at Vue 02 center .He helped me to contact with the other brunch via Vue Chat, he read the chat all the way till the end, as i did not have my reading glasses with me ,must say it took a while for the other guy to solve the problem and Luke did it so calmly and chose the best option for me .Thank you Luke you have the distinguished British kindness and professionalism and that Mission was Possible ! I wish you all the best cause you deserve it ! Kindness goes a long way !
We visited Vue Cinema at The O2 for a Sunday evening movie, hoping for a greatnexperience, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The issue was the unbearably loud sound. It was so overwhelming that we had to walk out multiple times to ask the management to lower the volume. While they did adjust it initially, the problem resurfaced after the interval. They again reduced it after I requested. But towards the climax, it became so deafening that we had to sit covering our ears—hardly the experience we paid for.nnWhat made it worse was the lack of monitoring. There was no staff ensuring the sound levels were appropriate, and it felt like the audience’s comfort was the last priority. Having to repeatedly step out meant we missed parts of the movie, which was incredibly frustrating.nnTo top it off, we had booked four VIP seats, expecting a premium experience, but instead, it was the worst Sunday evening we could have had at a cinema. For the price and reputation of Vue, this was extremely disappointing. We won’t be returning anytime soon.
