The best cinema experience I have ever had Gorgeous interior with big comfy seats!! Overall a very smooth experience. Will definitely return.
The cinema is beautiful and so old with character which is hard to find in london. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The cinema is stunning, and the seats wonderful - so comfortable. Relaxing and plenty of space. Screen is good and sound very good. I like the fact you can order drinks with a bar in the cinema however once the movie starts you should stop making drinks to make sure the sound is quiet for the movie. I recommend this cinema.
This was my second visit to Electric Cinema, and once again it was a lovely experience.nnThis time I sat in the standard chairs rather than the sofas, and they were surprisingly very comfortable with a good amount of support. One thing I really like about this cinema is that there is a bar located inside the screening room itself, serving hot food as well as snacks. It feels quite unique compared to most cinemas, where the bar area is usually completely separate.nnThe quality of the film and the sound on screen were both very good, making it an enjoyable place to watch a movie.nnThe only downside for me was the popcorn — there wasn’t any freshly made popcorn available, only pre-packaged bags. It’s a small thing, but fresh popcorn really adds to that classic cinema experience and I do think it was missing here.nnOverall though, it’s a stylish, comfortable cinema and somewhere I would happily visit again.
This is a very special place! Came her when they were showing Peaky Blinders and booked one of those beds. It’s a truly beautiful theater, I didn’t even like the movie but the vibes were so impeccable I was having a great time.nnMy one critique, I wish the popcorn was fresh :/ they had bagged popcorn?!?! This used to be a proper country!
What a beautiful picture theatre tucked in the hustle and bustle of Portobello Road. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the sofa chairs are glorious, great sound and just the size of the theatre, Row B2 was perfect spot. Loos are also nice! Thank you Electric, will definitely be back.
