The size of the screen is incredibly small and sound system is below average. The quality of the video was poor too. The cinema overall feels cozy and the seats are very comfortable. I suggest doing some renovations/upgrades
the movie was stated to start at 19:15, but didn’t start for approximately 50 minuted after this time. Typically it is to be expected that advertisments run for upwards of half an hour, something I have no issue with as it is standard for all cinemas across the board, however I would say 80% of this time was purely just a black screen with music and evidently served no purpose other than to waste time. The iced drinks we had bought had pretty much melted fully by the time the screening had started. All above mentioned was simply the start of our awful experience, which in isolation would probably not have bothered me too much, just an inconvenience.nnWhen the film finally began, it became quickly clear that that those in the screening had a total and utter lack of respect for those around them. This wasn’t just an odd few like you typically find in a screening, but it was people in front of us, people on the same row, people behind us and people at the back of the room. It was persistent, utterly distracting, lasted the whole of the run time of the movie, and nothing was done by your company to elevate this.nnConsistent and loud conversation and commentary by individuals for the whole of the duration of the movie, people on their phones and the constant sound of them dropping their phones for the whole duration of the film, general chatting and behaviour that was dismissive and un empathetic of other people. If I could describe this in any way I would say it wasn’t like being in a room with a load of year 7 school students.nnNot at one point did a member of staff come out to tell people that this behaviour was not okay, and it completely ruined our experience of the cinema. me and my partner were sat in a seat that was not accessible easily to the stairs, so we were unable to leave which is something were were absolutely considering, or notify a member of staff nnIf this issue was with 1 or 2 individual’s, then I wouldn’t be writing this email, but the fact it was the majority of the cinema leads me to draw to the conclusion that the lack of enforcement of peace leaves people to believe that they can act in whatever way they want.nnIt is your responsibility to maintain peace in screenings and to ensure that everyone has an experience that reflects the prices we pay.
Screens were HOT no air con, there was no leg room at all it felt worse than a Ryanair flight. Would not recommend. They didn’t let me friend in cuz they were more than 10 minute late saying it would disrupt the screen which made no sense as people were coming in and out constantly for the toilet as it was a 3 hour film. As bad as Vue is I would say it’s 10x times better than this odeon, was a horrible experience felt like torture.
Screen 2: bad sound quality that only seems to come from the front so it’s difficult to hear and whenever there are loud scenes, you can hear the speakers buzzing like they’re about to break. Also bad screen quality because you can see the marks whenever it is bright. Got the premium seats which state have more leg room but not huge compared to the standard seats. Wouldn’t come again.
Attended with my sister-in-law to see the Michael Jackson movie. Polite staff, swift service and straight to our seats.nnThe aircon was a little too 'full-on' and positively icy at times but soon warmed up.nnAuditorium was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely return...
