What a fabulous cinema this is. There is nothing quite like it in the whole of London. It's quite small and quirky but it's more about what they offer than the venue itself. Their lineup of vintage films, genre defining classics, all nighters and their sing a long movies ate what set this cinema apart. Set in the frenzy of Leicester Square, but just to the side so it's easy to avoid the madness and the crowds. I've only ever really been to the Sing a long films and I have to say they are just brilliant. It adds another feel good element to classics like grease and the sound of music. So much fun to be in a cinema with others that love these classics.

First came here to see LAKE PLACID in 1999, been coming back regularly since. The best cinema in London (by a country mile), sublime rep programme (*many* screenings from film prints) and sensational prices. Staff are great. I'll be a regular for as long as I'm breathing. Magnificent place.

My absolute favourite cinema. Always worth keeping an eye on their listings as they come up with a fascinating selection of old and new films as well as special experiences like Q&As that you rarely find elsewhere. With discounts on all performances my life membership has been repaid many time over.

35mm film is good quality. But the sound is jarringly loud on the eardrums. The seats in addition have either no or very little height difference causing longer heads to constantly be in the way of the film. Their is a blackboard outside the screening rooms which allows you to chalk down your suggestions for films to show which I thought was a nice touch.

Great place to go and see the latest and greatest! I wholeheartedly recommend a visit... The atmosphere here is very different from your run of the mill cinema, and often there are special nights which feature the performers or added benefits. I'd rather see my most anticipated releases here than anywhere else.
