Love this place. I have a student membership and it makes tickets and food here priced extremely reasonably. Food is restaurant quality even though it is a movie theatre. The theatres themselves are great as well. Comfortable and dark. My only gripe is that in one of the theatres (can't remember which screen), while I was watching Phantom Thread i could hear slight tinges of the next door theatre's film music.

Very nice place. Fancy looking interior and good quality screens, especially the big room with the recliner chairs. The bar is nice and the downstairs cafe as well. Staff is nice and prices are alright for London. Sometimes they have special screenings apart from the usual big films.

4.5 stars. This is the best cinema I've been to in London. The ticket prices are insanely expensive even by London standards but it's worth it since you get super comfortable, reclining plushy seats and don't have to deal with idiots talking through the length of the movie. The cafe downstairs is stocked with decent cakes and snacks and the upstairs bar is a great place to kick back before a movie if you're a little early. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because their ticket machines always seem to be on the fritz.

Picturehouse was bigger than I was expecting. I liked the decor, feels like a grown up destination with cafe, bar and snacks. Somebody had taken our sofa style seats at the back, so had to sit at the front of the theatre. Not so good. But comfy seats and loads of leg room. The queues for loos were lengthy, nice soap/moisturizer - but needs more loos. Great central (as name suggests) so good for combing with a bite to eat. Website desperately needs an overhaul to make it fit for purpose. No info about café/restaurant/bars - which is a shame because they are really nice.

Cinema is lovely. But experience ruined by bizarre booze policy: despite spending a lot on cinema tickets and then ordering plenty of food after the show, we were refused drinks because we hadn't kept our cinema ticket. Staff unhelpful.
