If your over 60 years of age you need a passport.driving licence or other photo id to be served alcohol. Nice cinema generally clean . Comfortable seats . What's not to like. Imagine being aged nearly mid 60 and being asked for a photo id to buy a bottle of beer . And when politely explaining I didn't have any id refused service. . I know licence laws need to be strict. Still plenty of other cinemas in London. Some with very nice bars and staff
The seats were great. It was easy to use the self automated machine to buy tickets and same as other Vue, there were plenty of snacks to choose from.nnHowever, the tickets were crazily expensive. A matinee showing for two regular seats were almost £30!nnThey added tax/service charge on top of the £13.99 ticket from an automated machine.nnIt didn’t happen when I saw a movie at another Vue location recently.nnI would avoid this vue in the future.nnThe movie was excellent though!
The screen and establishment in the vip scene section were good however the staff were lazy and were not even working over there, infact no one was even at the bar for a very long period.nnFirstly they didn't even check our tickets wich later ended up in some guy coming in for the movie who was just talking to himself making people around him feel uncomfortable, nnadditionally a carer and a kid came into the movie wich was 18+ thinking it was a kids movie wich lead me to believe that the staff were just not paying attention to where they are sending customers.
Dear Vue Cinema Management,nnI am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at your cinema. Given the exceptionally hot weather yesterday, I was shocked to find that the air conditioning was not turned on for a three-hour movie Bad Newz @20:50 in a fully packed theater. This created an unbearably uncomfortable environment, making it feel more like a sauna than a cinema.nnI could not enjoy the movie due to the oppressive heat and was left feeling frustrated and exhausted by the end. I expected a pleasant and comfortable viewing experience, especially given the price of the tickets.nnIf the air conditioning was not functional, the management should have taken proactive measures, such as changing the cinema hall or canceling the show. Allowing the movie to proceed under such conditions was inconsiderate and unprofessional.nnPlease explain why I should continue to patronize Vue Cinema when the service provided is far below acceptable standards. This experience was highly disappointing, and I will not be returning unless I am assured that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent such issues in the future.nnI hope you take this feedback seriously and address the situation promptly.
Upstairs cinemas are so outdated and there's no warning. I was in screen 19, the cinema is at least 20 years old, smells terrible and seats are non recliner, tiny and uncomfortable. Won't be going to a Vue again for a hell of a long time that's for sure.
