I didn’t get hot water before 8am , on 3 mornings that we stayed.. Ran water for long time no luck , went for a walk , came back and the hot water was working. Needs a fridge in the room.. just to avoid the image of everyone putting there cold items in the window sill to try and keep cool.. Great walks from behind the lodge… if you fancy getting a bit muddy. Super value for money if you book early and get £35 a night
Stayed as a family of 4 visiting Paultons Park for the kids. The room rate of £53 was ideal and thebHarvester next door was super handy. Everything was great from check-in to check-out. I accidentally left my PJs behind, the staff found them and posted them back the next day without charge. Would definitely stay again.
It was a lovely room and a nice quiet location, simple but perfect for us.
Just had an overall refit so looking tidier than before.nnStaff very helpful and polite which is good after days work or travel.nnIf using the Harvester then avoid the bar and try eat in the main restaurant.nnStaff bit too laid back and no idea on events .nnHad food in the bar and all can say was the worst Harvester meal ever.nnUse the Travelodge as stop off or use a base and all be good for you in the area.nnAs say make your own view .
Lovely hotel, right next to harvester and a small pub. Room was huge, double bed in it, but could have done with a sofa bed in there to fill the empty space. Car park right opposite, unfortunately no cctv and my car was damaged, no note left so will have to pay for damages myself. Staff were very apologetic but their hands were tied. 20 minutes from Southampton centre and cheaper to stay there than centre.
