This was a beautiful hotel. The bed was great. I loved that they set my daughters roll away bed up, although they didn't leave us any towels for her to shower. Not a big problem though, mentioned it to the front desk and they quickly brought some up. It was a long day so we wanted to get cleaned up. We didn't check out breakfast, although it was included with our Pualton park package. Parking was fine and reasonably priced.
This was our first time staying at the Hilton in Southampton and the ladies in the front desk were Rai and a trainee Manager were excellent!nWe had room 217 which had a view of the golf course and lakes which we enjoyed. Over all the hotel is beautiful especially for those that love cricket. We had breakfast in the dining hall but be sure to book the evening meal as it fills up quite quickly. Parking can be a pain but nothing too bad.nOverall, we enjoyed the location and will definitely be back.
Lovely hotel, room was excellent and I slept well. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. I had the special burger, which was one of the best I've had. The cruise package is great, although they'd make a killing with a snack machine in the lobby while you're waiting for transfers! I'm not a cricket fan, but the stadium is an excellent view.
Used the hotel for one night stay and a week parking when we went on a cruise. The hotel was excellent with a superb breakfast. Package included transfer to and from hotel to cruise terminal - this worked extremely well with outward pickup on time and return pick up arrived very shortly after we arrived back in port. Whole package was excellent.
Stayed night before a cruise. Lovely comfortable room, nice bathroom with large walk in shower. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
