Wonderful service. Great food in Beefy's restaurant. Choose a cricket facing room and the views of the Ageas Bowl are outstanding. Rooms on the cricket pitch side are spacious with balconies. Prices are high but there are good rates for bed, breakfast and dinner. The hotel is always busy as many of the cruise ships use rooms for their passengers. There is a golf course attached to the hotel as well as Hampshire Cricket. The hotel is also close to Southampton airport and a few minutes from Junction 7 on the M27.

Fairly new so all the facilities are good, played the golf course too which is half decent, still needs time to mature. Rooms are good, bar is well stocked and the restaurant food was nice. Would recommend staying here... book ahead though especially around cricket fixtures and other events

Stayed at this hotel a few months ago and I have to say it’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We ate at the restaurant for dinner they completely messed up both our food and drink orders not sure how as there was only a few diners in the restaurant, 4 of us fell ill, we were up most of the night not to mention the noise from the corridors. When I made a complaint on Check Out I was completely dismissed saying it had nothing to do with them and that was that. I will never stay here again nor would I recommend it either.

Today we used the spa. What a lovely experience. Facilities excellent. I would highly recommend a group booking renting the spa privately. A great treat.

Great business hotel with a fabulous view onto the cricket pitch. Everything about the hotel works; my only criticism is that it's decor is quite masculine, which in the business world of the 21st century seems a bit of an error. Despite the decor which is still 'cool', the spa, the quality of the rooms and service mean that it is somewhere I would recommend...
