Popped into this pub to kill time before attending a party nearby. How lucky were we. The dining room was spacious and inviting as were the staff, Claire in particular. We all chose fish & chips which we all agreed were the best we ever experienced. Introduced to the chef (Larry?) who was happy to talk to us. Although we live in Bournemouth we will definitely make the effort to visit again to sample their other dishes.

Fantastic little gem in a beautiful village. Rooms are very comfortable and Very up market, huge bed. The owners are very friendly and offer a warm welcome, followed by some excellent wines and great dining. This is all complimented by the team that look after you. Highly recommended award winning hotel

Stayed here for one night. The bedroom and en suite bathroom, including a separate shower, were clean, nicely decorated and provided excellent facilities. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious (chicken supreme for main course was perfectly cooked) and there was a wide range of choice at breakfast. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend the King's Head.

The food was very good. The service was outstanding, even when I constantly asking for additional items. The tables were big and spread out, there was plenty of space to walk around which was very surprising. Plenty of car parking, funny signs in the bathroom, however they were as clean as most pubs like this, in that they were still a bit messy.

Lovely pub with rooms. The roast dinner and cheese souffle were stunning. Decorated beautifully with lovely gardens. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped and staff very attentive
