Visited my gorgeous niece who is staying here; lovely halls flat mates are all very clean and tidy!. Pleasant stroll through the park which is just across the road and then along the river bank opposite side of the road. Niece is loving her first year
Good selection of student accommodation, ensuite rooms and others with shared facilities at different price points. Decent sized rooms equipped with bed, desk etc.
Dire and in desperate need of renovation. Regular electrical failures, poor decoration. Looks much better from outside
My son is staying there as a fresher. He's happy, and as a parent, I'm happy with the standard of accomodation too. I think he'd recommend it to others, and I'd certainly recommend taking a look at it, especially if you're considering catered accomodation that's a walk 15 minutes to the campus, although there's a Uni bus stop right outside the complex too.

Lovely complex for students. All ameanities and good bus route. Some flats could do with an upgrade. Nice open grounds. Staff and students polite and helpful. Lovely atmosphere at the University.
The rooms are rather old, and the ensuites are rather unpleasant. The electrical systems seem rather unreliable and they fail regularly.
The absolute state of this place is abysmal. The stove and oven dials in our kitchen have been swapped round for absolutely no discernible reason, which makes cooking a nightmare. Maintenance guys have said it's not their problem as long as the oven "functions." I suppose it won't be their problem when one of us accidentally burns the place down because they couldn't tell what temperature their meal was cooking at. The fridge had no handle and two shelves on it spontaneously collapsed after a few days, the replacement fridge was filthy from top to bottom. The laundry service is horrendous. They decided to outsource the machines to a company called Circuit, whose google play page is inundated with negative reviews; and rightly so, because their service functions as intended about 30% of the time. There's a fun, symbiotic shuffling of blame where the laundry company says we need to to talk to accommodation services because it can't be the app and the accommodation services say we have to talk to the company because it can't be the building. Nothing gets done and now I have to figure out how to dry my week's load of wet clothing with no clothes horse, drying machine or even hair dryer while fretting about coursework dates and a commitment I made to be out tonight. The reception for halls just seems to be a loop of being told to find an online service to inquire/complain about something because it's not their problem, and I wonder what the point of any of this is if not a large social experiment to see how students crack when you cram them together into a space too small and heap problems on top. I can't even say "as a paying customer" because the fact Student Finance England won't give me my maintenance loan isn't their problem, either. Outstanding.
Very good place for student accommodation with optional catering facilities and very friendly staff with 24/7 support. The facility has gym, bike shed and study room.
Superb accommodation for students and convenient bus route access.
