Thank you again Rupee, Billy and Jamie for another relaxing and welcoming stay in your wonderful hotel secure parking on site available with excellent rates. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. You always go the extra mile to make your guests feel so welcome. Perfect location for Southampton cruise terminal and walking distance to the city centre and Southampton football stadium. See you next timenSylvia and Kevin, Swansea
I am currently staying 4 nights at Hotel, feel very lucky to have found this place at such short notice and for such. Great price . It's the best Hotel for location, it's standards of cleanliness, the room is huge , as it is the bathroom with a proper bath and shower over. The bed is so comfortable. It has tea and coffee making facilities in room and TV. Having a lovely stay at the Hotel. The double glazing at front is particularly good at reducing noise. It's so close to the Common, shops , restaurants and the City Centre. Totally awesome
While totally adequate the Elizabeth falls down in a few places. The fact the building is in 3 separate sections with the 2 annexes permanently locked and your room key has a front door key to your building that lets you in. Accessing a damp smelling, dour, steep staircase that was less than welcoming. The rooms themselves are nice enough. A huge smart TV in ours was great.nThe restaurant although small and in a basement was nice enough. The breakfast room wasn't big enough, we had to wait for a table. The coffee provided at said breakfast was dreadful, truly dreadful. Parking was a nuisance too. We arrives at 4.15pm and parked up, but then had to move our cars again in the rain the next morning as more spaces came free. It seems the night before, at the hotels direction, we were in an office carpark that was needed during the week Overall the staff were very helpful and polite but I'm afraid that although we cruise from Soton regularly, we will not be using the hotel again.
After long drive the reception staff where so helpfull with a nice smile. Explained about evening meals and breakfast. Also they look after your car for a fixed fee better than car parks. You can go to your cruise ship from herenNice homely hotel. Just had a nice shower before evening meal. So relaxing here.
This was my 3rd stay and I won’t be staying again. I’m obviously disabled albeit temporarily due to needing knee surgery and was told because I don’t have a blue badge I couldn’t park in the disabled space in case someone with a blue badge needed it. I was directed to park the furthest space away from the hotel possible, this was because they keep the spaces close to the hotel for people paying to park there and going on cruises rather than for current guests. It says park in front of the cruise spaces but I was told to move my car when I did that. I was spoken to like a child by the manager, the hospitality was disgusting. The room was tired and not comfortable. DO NOT stay here if you’re disabled, it’s very judgementalnnTo your reply, RECOLLECTIONS MAY DIFFER!!
