Too busy on weekend. Nice place by all respect, many bars, different kind of food to enjoy, it's a complete market for our day to day necessities to buy. It's doesn't have historic buildings or so. Good for local residents.
Tooting Broadway
Nice Station that is served by the Northern line. There is always staff in the ticket hall area to help. Can be very busy this station with people going shopping. There is only escalators from the ticket hall area to the platforms no lifts available here. Also Tooting Broadway station is always hot/ very warm down on the platforms.
Very nostalgic for me, used to live in my cousin's house just beside the tube station. The place is full of life, some good and cheap shopping options including Primark and lots of eateries including Indian curry shops. Bus connections are quite good from here. Overall, a nice place to live.
It's not a modern tube station but good staffing on site so some kudos for that.nnThe entrance is wheelchair accessible and staff are available throughout the morning and say to assist.nnOften the platform going north bound is crowded but there are train destination boards and announcers on site.nnThe shopping area is OK and this is a good place to get excellent curries and pizzas!
